  1. "to embarrass email"? What does that even mean? Can you try to write more clearly what your situation is? If it is that your petition was returned from the consulate to the NVC, it is dead and you need to refile. When was the last time you saw your fiance?
  2. You have two potential issues: the alcohol abuse as it relates to the medical exam, and the arrest/criminal record pertaining to the DUI.
  3. Hopefully all parties involved realize she won't be able to adjust status and stay in the US?
  4. What do you mean by "annulled"? If you could post the document that refers to this (redacting any personal identifiers), you will get better help here.
  5. Are there red flags? Sounds like they are skeptical of the bonafides of your marriage.
  6. You’ll get “packet 3” instructions, likely via email to the petitioner. It will contain information on scheduling the medical and the interview, as well as which documents to bring to the interview.
  7. Hopefully the cards will be sent soon, but in the meantime, your 551 serves as the same thing.
  8. This is a relevant question. If they are seeking to stay for 6 months, that will raise questions about how they can afford to be away from work for that duration of time, and whether they will try to work illegally here.
  9. I think you misunderstood Redro's response. She was listing out the types of questions they would get asked......
  10. One thing to keep in mind however is that USCIS and DOS are separate agencies, with different rules in place. Good luck. Please keep us apprised of your case.
  11. If so, DCF does not make sense. OP, you should just petition your spouse for a CR/IR-1 visa, as that process will take two years anyway. You can file online. One thing I'm not sure of (and I'm sure @Mike E knows) is whether you could request CRBA once the adoption is final.
  12. They will look for strong ties to China, to make sure they return home after a visit. How long are they seeking to visit for?
  13. Yes, they can. The purpose of the stamp is to cover for increased card processing times. You paid the $225 fee, right?
  14. There are extremists everywhere, unfortunately. I think your bigger issue is overcoming the perception of immigrant intent. The CO is required to evaluate your application through this lens.
  15. No, you don’t need to wait. By the time off of the interview, you’ll have that return and also one for 2023.
  16. You filed for your wife before you came to the US? how did you get your green card?
  17. Green cards are not approved on the spot. Do you have any type of appeal/motion on your case? If not, it is likely a clerical error, and the message will change once the new card is being produced.
  18. It is clear that the interviews are done at a designated consulate, and that you do not choose where it is done. Do a bit of reading, and you'll find it.
  19. You think the OP intends to travel to the US to do pornography?
