    Different jurisdictions do things differently. You need to research how to go about that for your specific location. I can't imagine a legal document such as a marriage certificate being given out on the spot.

    This is an obvious drawback to waiting until the end of the 90 days to marry. It can take several weeks for the marriage to be recorded and for the certificates to be available. A cursory glance/click shows exactly how to order one.

    Most people try to come over prepared with such documents before immigrating. But did you read the link Mike posted? USCIS has info on which types of documents are acceptable by country. For the marriage certificates, you will need to figure out how to request those from your county/state once you are married. That info will be easily found on the website for your local county government.

    Now I'm thinking perhaps you don't understand the meaning of certified copy? It isn't a process of "certifying" a copy of something already in your possession. It is an official copy of the original document (owned by the county/city/state), certified by the county clerk or registrar, and usually has a raised seal. It is equivalent to an original.

    You should have certified copies of all of these things, regardless. Why do you not have a certified copy of the marriage cert? You'll need several. Most vital records offices charge a couple of bucks per copy.

    I don't think that is what Boiler meant. It is much more likely to take two years than one. There is a long queue for the interview. There is a significant wait time even for CRBA appointments, from what I have heard.

    OP, the problem is that you have to remain in status to be able to adjust, which would mean staying in the US on an F1 for 8-15+ years, which seems unlikely.

    You can’t resolve anything by phone. what evidence of meeting in person did you send? Even photos with dates are often not accepted in the absence of better quality evidence, as there is usually no way to verify a date.

    Honestly, it sounds like you’re looking to manufacture a reason. Your other posts are also about trying to shorten the wait time. Wanting to expedite because you don’t want to wait is NOT a reason.

    Not common at all. What country? Some high-fraud countries have very high rates of falsified documents. Can you obtain a high quality certified birth certificate? You'll need to elaborate on the story here for meaningful help.

    Expedites are hard to come by, but you can certainly apply. It's free.

    Just to clarify for OP- any medical exam you voluntarily get now will not be accepted for immigration purposes. You cannot get an immigration exam until your case is at the consulate. The 2023 taxes will be due long before you need the transcript.

    There is nothing that I’m aware of that will speed up the process. Obtaining criminal records too early just means they will be outdated when you eventually need them. You can’t just randomly go get biometrics.

    Right, you’d have no evidence of status, so no. Or are you referring to returning on VWP?

    Well yes, except in one of your comments you state that you want to live in the US. So which is it? You need to decide. You can’t use a B to live in the US, and you can’t spend years away and expect to keep the green card. If you had used the green card properly, you could have been a citizen by now, which would enable you to have the back and forth lifestyle.

    All of those will be barriers to your ability to support an immigrant. With a dodgy request for a medical expedite on your record, it will be very interesting to see how you plan to pay for your wife’s medical care once she’s here. Hopefully you realize that she won’t be eligible for public benefits, and that you’re 100% responsible for her.

    Not happening. Doctors will not put their name on some fabricated or falsified document. You’re grasping at straws.

    If “left untreated”? Why would treatment be dependent on whether your visa was expedited? That is not an emergency situation, and I would expect an expedite request to be denied . The only solution is for her to seek medical care in her country. They will not expedite for a non-emergency medical condition of beneficiary.

    There is no timeline for AP. It can be months, or years, especially being from Pakistan.

    The USC needs to file the petition- not you. A lawyer cannot help with AP. Syrians are heavily vetted, and there is no way around that. If you are not married, you cannot be petitioned for a CR-1.
