  1. No, you cannot use the joint sponsor's car as an asset. You need to either have your wife find a better/second job, or find a different joint sponsor. Your numbers are borderline, and I can't see you being approved.
  2. Probably when he concocted his little scheme, he didn't realize F2A would retrogress crazily.
  3. That's not the story here though. As I understand it, the brother was petitioned by a parent under a family category that requires him to be single.
  4. US immigration is not quick, cheap or easy. I suggest you read the guides and start researching. Entering the US with a tourist visa with the intent to marry and stay is fraud.
  5. What was your plan to provide health insurance for her, had she not become pregnant? How do you plan to sponsor her- do you have a joint sponsor?
  6. Definitely atypical, but there is no way to know what the outcome will be yet.
  7. "Expedite" does not mean "fast." The overall timeframe to get the visa may not be much different. Like you, many try to expedite, and it just creates another long queue.
  8. I agree OP that you just need to give it a few days. They will not be shy to reach out if there is any other document needed. As far as the CEAC being irrelevant after the interview- the status function (“Administrative Processing”, “Refused”, “Issued”) is absolutely still used, and the best source for applicants to see what is happening with their case.
  9. There is no sponsorship or anything for B2. They apply and need to show strong ties to home.
  10. Well, but you did, because if they sent back the entire package, she has not been in a period of authorized stay, as she would have been had they accepted the forms. SSN should have been applied for prior to marriage. Now it will probably take as long as the EAD/AP.
  11. What do you mean "several months"? Is she out of status? It isn't wise to delay sending in the AOS packet....
  12. You sure about that? I don't think the OP's sister qualifies to transmit citizenship in this case.
  13. Are you the petitioner or beneficiary? If you're doing a K-1, there is no welcome letter or submitting documents to NVC. Once the consulate receives the approved petition, the petitioner should get "packet 3" via email, which contains instructions on booking the medical and interview. The I-134 will be taken by hand by the beneficiary to the interview. The I-864 comes much later in the process when adjusting status.
  14. I have no idea. Perhaps look in the India portal? You could also try the website for the US consulate in Mumbai.
  15. Also, it is against the TOS to have more than one account at VJ.
  16. Same answers as when you posted the same question the other day.
  17. You are out of status and are accruing unlawful presence. You need to return to your country ASAP.
