  1. Is your wife the beneficiary? Has she ever been to the US?
  2. Do you have an inadmissibility requiring a waiver?
  3. That's not how that works. "Processing time" for family preference visas indicates petition processing, not visa availability, which is numerically limited. You'll want to google "Visa Bulletin." I'd expect an NTA coming your way at any time.
  4. Maybe that, plus the fact that you tried to expedite it? AOS is not normally expedited, especially if you're trying to line-jump in front of people adjusting while in status.
  5. Possibly, but it is also a very high fraud consulate, so they may scrutinized marriage/fiance visas more closely than in similar countries.
  6. Power of attorney is not the same as naming a beneficiary for assets.
  7. Ah, of course. Interesting. N600 process has potential for being very expensive.
  8. You got taken for a ride by a greedy and incompetent lawyer.
  9. Graphic design, among H1b workers in tech hubs like where I live, would be the exception.
  10. You have to meet in person at least once in the preceding two years. You are not eligible for a K-1, and we’re rightly denied. This is a non-negotiable requirement and is no way a ‘soft denial.’ Refile, or marry and start the CR-1 process.
  11. She is your petitioner, and your sponsor. You can have a qualified joint sponsor, but your wife is the sponsor. She will want to read up on domicile requirements. Also, if she has a job offer in the US, she may be able to request DCF via the London consulate.
  12. We are all on the edge of our seats to know whether your GC intercept mission is successful, OldUser!
  13. Especially since any anti-seizure meds would be available in both countries.
  14. DCF is only applicable when the USC petitioner resides with the beneficiary abroad. Several years ago, the international USCIS offices were all closed, so now DCF is only available with "exceptional circumstances," i.e. an immediate job transfer or offer for the USC in the US. Your situation is not this.
  15. I don't think you're understanding the visa bulletin correctly. Petition approval and visa availability are DECADES apart.
  16. You are not eligible for a spousal visa. They will see immediately that it is not a legitimate marriage.
  17. Wife needs to move to your country. You still may never get an immigrant visa.
  18. You are dispensing incorrect information. The OP has a petition filed with USCIS and is NOT eligible for DCF, even under exceptional circumstances.
  19. No, it needs to be a specific job. By all means, feel free to search online for jobs. it is very expensive and complicated for companies to sponsor work visas, so in general they only do it for positions they can’t fill with Americans or current green card holders.
  20. Work visas are limited to certain types of jobs that are hard to fill in the US. Graphic design is not one of them. Student visa might work if you have the funds to pay for it, but that is a nonimmigrant visa, and it might be hard to get with a U.S. boyfriend. You can always try.
