Oh yes, but that’s different. The Nigerians who list a fake marital status on the DS -160 in order to increase chance for tourist visa end up paying the price when they want an immigrant visa later, and that marital status must be addressed.
You won’t pay it for 15- 20 years or so, and who knows what the fee will be at that time, or whether all family members will still be eligible by then.
Who is “she”? Your post is confusing. Your daughter has no part in applying for your tourist visa, if that was your question.
Also, why does your timeline say K-1??? K-1 is a fiancé visa.
It is strongly advised that you do not book tickets, sell property, ship belongings etc before having the visa in hand. Countless VJ members have learned this the hard way.
“Make sure you tell them you had a large reception”?
Did I miss where the OP said this, or are you encouraging people to make stuff up in their interview?
Well you know my politics, and I’ve been listening to NPR for nearly 40 years!
Also, it is always kind of funny to me that British immigrants would live in the boonies in the US. Do you often meet Americans who are unable to understand your accent?
Sometimes the timing can call into question the bonafides of the marriage. And Hungary is by no means a high-fraud country, but overlapping, short relationship/marriages that result in green cards can definitely attract scrutiny.
