  1. So you’ve been here for nearly a year, and your toddler hasn’t established medical care with a doctor?
  2. Iran can be a very unpleasant place for non-Muslims, women in particular. It’s always kind of pointless comparing your own situation to others, ‘ particularly when US military is involved, as there are some different rules for immigration. You can ask for an expedite, but I’ve never heard of the White House getting involved in individual immigration cases. I would also expect Iran’s rapidly worsening geopolitical status (on top of our already nonexistent diplomatic ties) to complicate and delay ALL immigration cases, yours included.
  3. Is the currently published info on the embassy’s website where you are seeing the two visit info? If so, I’d defer to that as the official source. I wondered though if that two visit practice could have been replaced by having people upload documents instead.
  4. Tax returns are not evidence of being physically present in the US, so, no. Have you been in the US since the date specified? If so, you should have your son’s vaccination and medical records. How is it possible that you have no bills in your name, coming to your address? And since he has his US passport, why the need for the N-600?
  5. Your strong ties to India do not exist.
  6. You were obviously denied for immigrant intent. You will not get a US visa until you develop stronger ties to your country- and proposing to come to the US to work (on a tourist visa? You can’t even work remotely on a B visa) serves to make it even less likely of getting one. You can’t “frame” your situation in a way that will help you overcome the reasons for denial. US consular officers have heard EVERYTHING.
  7. Your father will not get an immigrant visa if you, the petitioner, are not living in the US.
  8. Service center assignment is not related to area of residence of petitioner.
  9. But why? Why waste their time if your case is progressing as normal? SMH.
  10. You cannot work until you have either the EAD or GC. You should apply for EAD work permit) at the same time.
  11. Not a legal option for you. Petition them for visas, and prepare to wait in the queue, like everyone else. That idea is why people from India who legitimately want to visit find it hard to get tourist visas.
  12. Well, it was winter, and it did force me back into my craft room to work on my dollhouses, so in a roundabout way, yes.
  13. I was banned twice in one month! Am lucky the TOS doesn't apply to private messaging......LOL.
  14. I think the USCIS.gov published processing time for 129-F is still 16.5 months, so you’re right around that.
  15. That could be problematic for receiving USCIS mail, even if you reported the address changes. Do you have an online account, and if so what does it say when you log in?
  16. That would probably only be @Family, the only truly nice one of the lot here 😅
  17. Or a staycation if one chooses to lurk as guest (I’d never).
  18. How about “which member has spent the most time in VJ Jail”? 😅
  19. Yes, and provide ALL supporting court and police documentation.
