  1. Why have you not put everything in both names? Being an authorized user is not the same as joint owner. It's a bit late now, but for others reading this: I recommend adding spouse to ALL household bills immediately when they first arrive.
  2. Probably doesn't help that she didn't honor the timeframe she told CBP she'd be visiting. They do documents notes in the computer of what people seeking entry to the US tell them.
  3. She is spending WAY too much time in the US, which is seen as abuse of the B2 visa; they think she is using the B2 to live here. And for good reason - not many can afford to take months and months at a time for vacation, without working. Treat it seriously. Have her stop abusing the B2. Last thing she needs is to be sent back on the very next flight, which is where you're headed.
  4. No one here would have any way of knowing internal operations of particular consulates.
  5. I have seen cancellations due to weather. I guess the best option is to try and check early on the morning of the oath ceremony?
  6. If you’re trying to bring him as an immigrant to get a green card, there is no path for that.
  7. In your other post, you say you were all born in the US?
  8. Nope, not for a few years now.
  9. CFO has nothing to do with the I-129F petition or any part of US immigration.
  10. Interesting question, as even in jurisdictions where marijuana is illegal, "using" it, or having used it in the past isn't necessarily a crime.
  11. Won't expedite for beneficiary job offer, but possible for petitioner. Had you not already sent the petition, DCF for petitioner job would have been fastest.
  12. We have never provided any photos for any part of the K-1/AOS/ROC/N-400 process (although N-400 is under 5 year rule). At our ROC interview, the officer wanted to see our elopement wedding selfies, lol. Snapshots are definitely secondary evidence when it comes to showing a commingled marital life. Was that 3 year or 5 year rule?
  13. Most here who did K-1s (with hugely variable timelines) would do a CR-1 if having to do it over again, particularly with the uncertainty surrounding US immigration presently. During Covid for example, consulates prioritized spousal visas vs K-1s. And not being able to work or travel for up to a year may not sound like much, but the effect on the immigrant can be significant.
  14. You don’t have to visit that country, but you definitely have to meet before filing.
  15. Quitting your job and coming for another extended visit isn’t a great idea….
  16. I have never heard of insurance covering an AOS exam. Why would you not submit for work and travel? What if the GC processing goes back to 12+ months again?
  17. Not in every state. In Washington, it’s only valid for 30 days.
  18. Not really surprising, given Russia’s actions and current/recent global geopolitics.
  19. This statement makes NO sense. A person's moral character and behavior has nothing to do with their immigration status. You could just as easily have petitioned a spouse who did the same thing to you.
  20. I thought pilots/ pilots in training in the US had to have green cards since 9/11?
  21. And the “issues” are in part based on behavior of others from his country- there is an algorithm. People from Western European countries are able to get tourist more easily because their rates of overstay are lower. Also- if anyone else in the family came here on a B and overstayed/adjusted, that will reduce his chances.
  22. You don’t seem to understand that you have no part in someone else’s tourist visa. There is NO sponsorship. His ONLY chance is to establish stronger ties to home. That’s it.
