    You do not qualify. Just have the USC file a petition, if you haven't already. DCF isn't for people who are casually thinking of moving, and choosing to travel instead of attend an interview.

    Not what I said at all. We were talking about the protocols of a specific hospital, whose internal workings are not set by the US govt. The CDC requirements for testing might be, but the minutiae of how it is done is clearly not. I'm sure even you can see the futility of OP's wish to contact "his government" to complain about his perceived poor service at St. Lukes

    Where are they now? You'll definitely want to familiarize yourself with what it will cost for them to get health insurance. Hopefully they have significant savings amassed. It can be >$1k per month per person.

    Totally agree. Ours was 18 months to approval without an interview, and still haven’t filed N-400.

    There is no sponsorship for a B visa, and as mentioned, it’s very very unlikely he will get one. Adjusting on a B visa impacts your relatives’ future ability to visit.

    Your sister may petition you for an immigrant visa, but a visa won’t be available to you for maybe 20 years.

    Not much you can do. Show strong ties to home. You wouldn’t be able to adjust through a sister anyway, so there’s that.

    That makes no sense. The U.S. government does not control who comes into Germany. The DCF would be for the Indonesian wife to get an immigrant visa for the U.S.

    It’s not due to Covid these days. Seems odd to book travel when you need a waiver ?? Is it a 601? Those can take a year or more.
