    There is no visa available to your brother that will take less than the timeframe you've been quoted. Nothing in US immigration is quick. If it truly is urgent, you may want to look into sending her home so that she can be looked after in her own country.

    Very much doubt it. Waivers for the K-1 meeting requirement are HARDLY EVER granted. You will need to find a way to meet in person if you want to petition someone.

    You can’t overcome reasons for denial by refiling. Do you really think there is no record-keeping in USCIS/department of state??? You may want to plan to move to his country if you want to live together.

    I don’t think you understand what notaries actually do. They do not certify the authenticity of documents, only the issuing jurisdiction can do that via “certified copy.”

    You are not understanding the process at all. You need to do some reading based on the feedback people have given you in your multiple threads, rather than just dismissing the info you don’t like to hear. And no, you cannot show up on a visitor visa expecting to be admitted to adjust status. That’s 100% FRAUD. You need to be petitioned for a spousal visa like everyone else.

    Sorry, but your situation is not an emergency. Most lumps are not cancer. Get the mammogram, bring a friend if you need to. Insist (to insurance/MD/whoever) that you want a 3D tomosynthesis mammogram, and ask for it to be read while you wait. Some breast centers do this. Do this now, do not wait. Even if you had been approved for the expedite, it wouldn't have meant that your husband would be here tomorrow. Do not wait "a few months."

    That isn’t an immigration issue, but it is covered by local and international laws. You definitely need an experienced lawyer.

    Totally agree. I was pointing it out so that hopefully the OP would confirm that it was an adjustment from ESTA. Hard to have sympathy with that choice, since the effect is circumventing the lines.

    Sorry, it’s too late to edit this. I was thinking ROC vs AOS. As others are saying OP, you cannot adjust status via any route other than your marriage. Sorry to hear about the situation.

    You can divorce and switch to a divorce waiver so that you self-sponsor. In the meantime, you’re out of status and deportable. do you have an attorney?

    Well, separation is part of the deal with immigration. Most of us weee separated for MUCH longer than that.

    They don’t really reveal such info, but I would guess they check whatever databases were checked in the interim since the previous checks. They are looking for updates.

    Have you checked the visa bulletin? For 4th preference family visas, the petition approval time isn’t relevant to the visa availability, since they are numerically limited. She probably has another 10-15 years to go.

    Unfortunately, that is a bit of a trade off for adjusting and not having to wait in line for a visa like everyone else though.

    OP posted in the AOS from work, tourist, student visas, so it may not have even been a K-1.

    Sounds like you're all set in terms of documents they need. There are always last minute checks for all US visas. Good luck!

    In general, you cannot interview for a US immigrant visa as a tourist in a 3rd country. The only way to know definitively is to request permission from the US consulate in the country where you want to interview.

    You will need to sit for the NCLEX outside of the US, because until you are licensed, you are not eligible for positions requiring licensure.
