  1. Unlike many who adjust from VWP/B, your circumstances truly did change. I would marry and file the AOS//EAD/AP documents straight away, along with an expedite request for the EAD since you are unable to work. Hopefully you have a joint sponsor lined up. Best luck.
  2. I think you are not understanding what is published on the site.
  3. The purpose of the family reunification visas is pretty obvious. So no, you are not eligible. Even if you were, you can’t get a green card and then live for years overseas.
  4. If your husband commits bigamy, then your marriage will not be a legal basis for an immigrant visa.
  5. I don’t think you’re getting the entire picture. Your EAD is (and has been) invalid already. The heavy scrutiny will be for your first marriage’s bonafides, since you already had issues with the stokes interview. Even with a current bonafide marriage, you could be subject to a misrep with deportation.
  6. Yup, filed a year ago. It is at LIN, so not expecting anything anytime soon.
  7. Hope so. Husband isn’t too worried. We have kiwi friends who’ve lived here for years without naturalizing.
  8. Hi Sarge! Our window opened at the end of November, but life got in the way….hopefully we will be able to join you here!
  9. Being naturalized does not change your place of birth 😳
  10. All facets of US immigration, including supporting the immigrant, are very expensive. Suggest you look into bettering your financial situation ASAP.
  11. They look at info from 2018 and determine it’s “faster.” It’s the rush to be together without regard to the logistics of AOS, etc.
  12. K-1 in 2022/23 is literally no faster than CR-1.
  13. If you do a timeline, you can click on your flag to get to the portal/timelines for your country.
  14. uh, I’m addition to holidays wasn’t 70% of the United States just subjected to severe weather events? Maybe chill a tiny bit and give them a chance.
  15. No, but definitely have a plan in place for your fiancé’s health insurance.
  16. Anyone is free to comment here on VJ. We did, but that was in 2018. We are no strangers to waiting; as you will see, there are many other components to the overall process that require waiting.
  17. 🤷🏼‍♀️. Why are all of your posts about looking for ways game the system or look for loopholes?
  18. Please do a timeline. Your post is confusing and you’ll get more help by making your situation clearer.
  19. Is is mandatory, or is he exempt? if it is mandatory and there are penalties for not serving, that could potentially be a problem.
  20. If you are worried about this for the I-134, what will you do for the I-865 when it comes time to AOS? Time to get a job or find a joint sponsor.
  21. How did they get admitted at the border without requesting asylum?
  22. Lots of people. All you can do is wait. AP timeframes cannot really be predicted. Like Boiler said, the only status with meaning is ISSUED.
