    Don't even think about lying on the petition. Also - just curious, but how is someone who sees fit to love and marry two women at once, okay with immigrating and living separately from BOTH of them forever? That seems incongruent.

    Ah. I don’t think that’s something to worry about actually. Ours were >30 days old when our petition was submitted. People don’t change that much in appearance.

    That refers to the passport photos, not ‘relationship’ snapshots. The best evidence, as mentioned, is time spent together in person.

    Based on the 10 day gap between submitting and the response, it’s a denial due to lack of compelling evidence, per USCIS. Most expedited are denied. Everyone can come up with reasons to expedite.

    Census? The next US census is not until 2030. I’d be wary about filling out forms claiming to be from the census. And the 2020 census was definitely still conducted via paper forms.

    Also- I reread the original post, and I’m confused as to why you’re just now asking which visa is better, having already filed a petition. Hopefully you realize that the only visa you may be eligible for is a fiancé visa, and that it you marry on the next visit, your current petition is voided.

    Pinkrlion nailed it. All of these things combine to lead the consulate to believe it is a green card marriage. You will have to overcome that via a preponderance of evidence.

    You have your work cut out for you with red flag after red flag. You will need to have as much time spent in person as possible, and CR-1 is more likely to be approved. And in case of a denial, you’ll need plan B- are you willing to move to Ghana?

    Yeah, unless you’re is also a marriage to a first cousin which is illegal in the intended state of residence, it’s not really relevant.

    No idea. Administrative processing is typical for Pakistan, because all of the record-keeping issues and other issues.

    Until you move, and the consulate is satisfied that you have actually moved to another state, he won’t be getting an immigrant visa. You may want to consider moving back to Pakistan.

    At the end of the day, it matters not what anyone here thinks. The burden of proof is on the applicant in question, to show a preponderance of evidence to USCIS. The bar is high due to the hordes of fraudsters who came before. Good luck to your friend.
