  1. I never said one or two visits won't be enough. What I mean is that the 7 years of chatting is not relevant 'evidence' to submit. Focus on actual time spent together when you prepare the petition. Time spent together counts, 'online dating' does not.
  2. So why do you suppose they suspect you of fraud? Very unusual at this late stage of immigration.
  3. Why would you need these? Photos do not establish a parent/child relationship. You should read the guides.
  4. The 7 years of online dating or whatever is not relevant for US immigration. Your success in getting a visa will be based on actual time spent together.
  5. This makes no sense, and it could work against you on the public charge issue.
  6. You do not know what you are talking about.
  7. Pretty rare to get a cancellation with such long wait times.
  8. You may need to research current processing times. Not sure where you've gotten your info from, but your expectations are not realistic, sorry.
  9. The USCIS process (petition approval) is only the first step. The approved petition goes to the NVC, and the petitioner must upload requested documents. Once documentarily approved, it is dispatched to the consulate. Entire process takes 18-24 months. Is this the first you are investigating the visa process?
  10. This thread is reading as if you are investigating doing something fraudulent, just FYI.
  11. You would have to lie to CBP. That would not be smart. And you would be stuck in the US without a way to travel or work (even remotely, even as self-employed) for up to a year. Think carefully about how you want to do things.
  12. It’s generally the service center, not field office. Look at the processing times. Nebraska is 19 months at this point.
  13. Oh, it was. The DS-160 contains the info needed to make a decision. They are not obligated to look at any other documents or evidence brought in for the interview. Like others have said, it is the unfortunate result of past B visa abuses by others from that country.
  14. Reason for denial would be suspected intent to overstay. The only way they will get visitor visas will be to show an overwhelming amount of evidence of their ties to home, and reasons to go home when they are supposed to.
  15. Best wishes for your process. VJ is a great site, so stick around.
  16. Sounds like you immigrated from someplace else, or your parents brought you. Hopefully you can draw on those experiences as you endeavor to understand the process. Good luck.
  17. While waiting, please try to read and become educated on the process. It will help with the expectations, and in the long run, it can save you time and money if you understand how it works.
  18. Why did you sign a petition that contained incorrect information? You are 100% responsible for the content of a petition you submitted.
  19. You used your US-based parents cancer diagnoses as a reason to expedite a spousal visa? USCIS must get so tired of frivolous expedite requests....
  20. Why? That is a very odd comment. Anyway, you won't get an expedite for that reason, sorry. And if there are mental health questions, you can expect scrutiny with the medical exam.
  21. There is no "luck" involved. There are rules and timelines. US immigration is expensive and time-consuming. Did you immigrate from China yourself?
  22. Uh, she CANNOT. You really need to do some research. You also may benefit from professional assistance with the visa process, because you do not understand how it works.
  23. $8k USD for a flight? Maybe if you insist on first class, but otherwise very much doubt that.
  24. No, you will not get a waiver due to Covid.
