    Problematic to use equity in your primary residence, as you can't both house immigrants and use the value of that house to support them. I wouldn't be surprised if the consulate asks for another joint sponsor. @pushbrk

    That's not how that works. The legally enforceable document is signed by the sponsor and is between the sponsor and the US government. If your GF wants to sponsor you, she will need to find an eligible joint sponsor, or improve her own financial situation.

    It is a very backlogged consulate, so even if there are no true AP type issues, I would imagine it will be some time for them to review the additional info they've received. Good luck.

    Did you bring the first wife over on an immigrant visa also? There must be some reason why they focused on that during her interview.
