  1. Uh, I DID read carefully. I was pointing out something factual.
  2. If just today they're asking for a new medical and passport, OP has not received the visa yet.
  3. I would just ignore that. They know you have had your interview, and that message has no meaning. You may see it change to READY and even REFUSED again, before ISSUED.
  4. I believe it cannot be counted, as it is not easily liquidated to use to support immigrant as an asset owned by a trust.
  5. The CR-1 is probably the best option. It will take a couple of years from start to finish.
  6. The people who go against VJ advice and send one thousand pages of WhatsApp are probably the stragglers.
  7. Husband received 48 month extension letter today as well. We are Dec 1 filers.
  8. Totally irrelevant. Even with one meeting, the OP will have the petition approved. The bar for that is very, very low. The issue is visa approval by the consulate, which you obviously have not experienced yet.
  9. Absolutely correct. Tunisia is a high-fraud country, and you stand a high chance of denial.
  10. Yup. Just like how the chances of getting nonimmigrant visas is very much country-dependent.
  11. It’s just that we see it time and time again, there is a pinned post, and yet the misconception persists.
  12. If USCs are required to show a passport when seeking admission to those countries, why in the world would LPRs not be?
  13. Where did you get the idea that invitation letters are a thing for US B visas? They are not. Nor is there any type of financial sponsorship. The consulate does not care why they want to come to the US. They want to know why they will return to India. Your in-laws will have to demonstrate strong ties via the content of their online application. Any documents brought to the interview are generally not considered.
  14. You just wait and keep checking for interview slots.
  15. Dude….. how is it that you are so misinformed? What is your source for all of the bad info in your posts?
  16. You cannot pay to have that type of visa expedited. And they will not expedite just because you are tired of waiting. There are people who have been waiting for much longer than you.
  17. You do not have a grasp on the issues at hand. You need an immigrant visa, and trying to use the B2/VWP in lieu of that has consequences.
  18. OP was given great advice about the ‘plan’ in previous posts.
  19. Just send the transcripts. They contain all of the info needed, plus evidence that you actually filed.
