  1. This is not a strong tie. Especially since you have demonstrated immigrant intent, so presumably you can get the medication in the US. IMO, the POE shouldn't dictate how you prepare to interact with CBP. It's a crapshoot every time, regardless of POE.
  2. Bring evidence of your ties to home. Are you taking a 6 week holiday from work? Bring a letter attesting to that, with the day you're expected to return. They may wonder if you plan to work remotely here while on vacation. If so, don't. That is not allowed. Do not bring "moving house" volumes of belongings.
  3. Wonder if that’s a retrogression record? F2A was current for so long prior to that.
  4. Very sorry, but one of the VAWA requirements is that you’ve lived together in the US. Sounds like you have only visited on VWP etc.
  5. K-1 was the wrong choice if you needed to make concrete wedding plans, especially if the “religious reasons” mean the beneficiary is from one of the countries that may come with extended administrative processing post-interview.
  6. Amazing that she arrived and so quickly changed plans to adjust status with no need to return from ‘vacation’….. 😳
  7. So you’re saying an answer you provided on the electronic form somehow got changed by USCIS?
  8. And what will you do for a salary to sponsor her? She should be focusing on getting a Schengen visa. Apparently it is getting harder by the day for Russians to get them.
  9. Or better yet, have the "friend" post here and get first-hand answers. If the petitioner's parent is a sibling of the beneficiary's parent, they are first cousins.
  10. There are a lot of ill-informed or even scammy lawyers out there. Your best bet, going forward, is to do everything by the law, and don't try to take advantage of the privilege of the B visa. Especially since she is not a Canadian citizen. Petition her for an immigrant visa and wait in the queue like everyone else.
  11. Yes, you received faulty advice. The terms of the B visa do not permit work of any kind.
  12. I see. Yes, the visa itself confers no work authorization.
  13. 3-4 days per WEEK? IMO, that’s pushing it. CBP doesn’t like it when people abuse their B visa privileges by using them to LIVE in the US. What job does she have that would allow that chunk of time off every week? Hopefully you both understand that she cannot work remotely on a B visa.
  14. How do you have an I-551 stamp!
  15. If you are an ‘active member’ here, you’d know that’s FRAUD.
  16. It depends. If they want to do a second interview, you’d need to try to get the case transferred to a different consulate.
  17. Why Russia? As her interview will not be there. You need to retain domicile in the US to sponsor her. Will you be relying on a joint sponsor?
  18. I think you lack understanding of basic immigration terms. There is no way around the requirement for him to have a valid CR-1 or K-1 visa if you wish to bring him to the US to live and work legally.
  19. The fraud is entering the US with the intent to adjust status. He needs a valid visa intended for the purpose of immigrating through marriage to a USC, which would be CR-1 or K-1.
  20. US immigration takes time and planning. You can't just move here during the process. You can't live or work in the US on ESTA or a B visa. Your wife needs to petition you for a spousal visa with consular processing. It will take up to two years. I suggest you both thoroughly research the entire visa process, including which documents and forms are needed, and how your wife will be able to sponsor you as an immigrant.
  21. Not sure what you mean "clean way" to relocate for work? There are 100% legal ways to immigrate, but there are no sneaky ways for you to avoid the queue that everyone else is waiting in. US immigration requires planning, time, money, knowledge and patience. I suggest you both read up on it to fill in the gaps in your knowledge.
  22. NO. A certified copy that you PURCHASE from the county or state that owns the vital record. Wow…..
