Kenneth and I met in Bamberg, Germany (my hometown) in Feb. 2001, he was in the ARMY. Aug 2002 I came over here to Florida to meet his Family and Friends, it was great after 3 1/2 weeks I flew back home and he went to his new duty station in Ft. Carson, Colorado. We were apart for like 14 months, in his time in CO he went to Iraq for 6 months and I only got ONE phonecall from him, that's all he was able to. End of Oct 2003 he came back to Germany and 6 weeks later we got married (Dec 13 2003) Even as he was stationed in CO we started talking about Marriage and so I started plaining the wedding with my Mom. It was a great day and Im really proud of it, even his Parents and siblings came over for a week. His ET's date was Dec 20th 2003 !!!!! Then we drove to Frankfurt (american Consulat) and filled out the paperwork for my Permanent Resident Card, which I recieved after 3 months but it was only good for 2 years. Well in May 2004 we came over here and lived 8 months with his parents and then we were able to finally buy a house with 2 Acres. I love it so much, we have a Cat and a Dog but no kids YET !!!!!
