  1. I'm not sure. My date of separation was mentioned in the divorce decree and it was after the green card was approved
  2. oh, I mentioned in my earlier response that the divorce was filed 8 months after the i-751 approval. In my divorce decree, the separation date was recorded as 6 months after my i-751 was approved. I saw some posts here mentioning they were asked about the reason for their divorce and who filed for divorce. I was the one who filed for divorce. Does it matter?
  3. yes, we lived together at the time of the approval. And the divorce was filed 8 months after the approval
  4. Thank you for your response! I forgot to mention that I had uploaded a copy of my GC to the application. My i-751 was approved without interview while I was married. The divorce was finalized about a year after the approval. Should I be prepared to answer questions about my marriage? And what documents do I need to bring to the citizenship interview?
  5. Hi, I'm working on my application and having a couple of questions. 1. I had a 175 day trip outside the US this year. It's been more than 3 months since I returned to the US. Is it ok for me to apply for the citizenship? Since my trip was less than 180 days, I should be fine? 2. I'm applying under the 5-year rule (but I first got my GC through marriage). My question is what documents I should submit. So far I've uploaded the following documents: - Tax transcripts for the last 5 years. - Divorce decree Other than that, do I need to submit anything else? Thanks everyone in advance!
