We met in Reykjavik, Iceland in March 2000. We knew it was right from the first night, and met in Boston in April to see if there was REALLY something there. There was, so Jan Erik applied for a student visa and for admission to U of Nebraska. We spent 4.5 years there together as students. After graduation, he returned to Denmark, but after six months apart we were tired of being separated and started the K-01 process. He returned to the USA on July 18, and we were married in Las Vegas on July 21, 2006!
