  1. Very hard for a man to wrest children from their mother especially in Texas. The woman would have to be a total incompetent to lose her kids to a man!
  2. I can vouch for that "Don't Mess With Texas", they will take it all and leave you a dime in change. Texas is not a child support friendly state for the man! Even if he is not working the support will accumulate each month. I've seen some guys as high as 80k
  3. In fact the trend is starting to show that most people (here on VJ) do file their N-400 while their I-751 is pending. USCIS for some reason goes bananas when they see you have both a I-751 and a N-400 pending. They are adjudicating N-400s by the droves it seems. If you have any inclination to apply for your N-400 I would recommend you do it especially if you have a I-751 pending too! I've seen several cases here on VJ, where the I-751 got boosted out of the mud due to having a pending N-400. @Crazy Cat can vouch for that. While it's just speculation that your I-751 will be sped up if you submit a N-400, it does not hurt anything at all and can only help your cases. That's a rare gem when dealing with USCIS.
  4. Grats to you. But it sure would help others if you filled in your timeline. As we all help each other here in VJ.
  5. We also used the @Crazy Cat move and added a letter requesting the combo interview. My wife's N-400 interview is next month so I am hoping to get notification it will be a combo interview. Regardless of notification or not both spouses should go to the N400 interview whether they will let you in is another matter, but at least you'll be there should it turn into a combo interview.
  6. IOE means electronic / digital, once you get your hard copy of the NOA look down in the lower left corner it will have the center and address where your case is.
  7. When you get the hard copy of your NOA or you go to your online account and look in documents folder, if you look in the lower left hand corner of your NOA it will tell you the place your case is at including address.
  8. Yes If you get a reuse letter it will come later or it will be your appointment.
  9. You can get a RFE at any time in the process including up to the interview and beyond!
  10. Seems you are dead set to file, with so many VJers recommending that you wait, you would think that would be an omen for you. It's really up to you as we don't know your situation. You do you and whatever you feel is right for YOU! Keep us posted on your progress.
  11. Then you'd also have to figure on the interview coming early as USCIS is known to do that too. Just to many variables and you are dealing with USCIS, to risk it just for a few months early.
  12. Updates: We received the new 48 month extension letter in the mail today, so I guess they are sending out the extensions slowly but surely. We also received an interview date of April 11th 2023 for the N-400. Not sure if it is going to be a combo interview, but we are going to plan on having a combo interview and I will accompany my wife to her interview. @Crazy Cat said he received an email about a week before his wife's N-400 interview notifying them that it was in fact going to be a combo interview so we will see if we get that same email, if not we will still plan on a combo and adjust as such!
  13. Yes we applied on January 6th, 2022, initially we got the 24 month extension, but just today we received the new 48 month extension letter in the mail! I guess USCIS is slowing sending them out now!
  14. @InspectorGrover thank you for posting we will be heading that way April 11, 2023, your information is quite useful as well as @Crazy Cat post. Thank you both!
