Advised by whom? Certainly not by USCIS, in fact it says to the contrary in the "Evidence of the Relationship" in the I-751 instructions. It comes down to a matter of choice basically. While many folks submit quarterly statements and do just fine, still others elect to submit monthly statements and also do fine. Just a matter of personal choice. USCIS did for awhile RFE folks for not submitting monthly statements in addition to pages of the statements missing. Admittedly this was quite awhile ago that USCIS did that and there has been no recent incidence of it happening currently.

N-400 January 2023 Filers
Sarge2155 replied to Sarge2155's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
Yes you can order what you need, I think they go back several years. Do it on their website. Even if you get them by mail they should arrive before your interview. -
N-400 January 2023 Filers

If your interview is not until May there is a good chance that if you order now the transcripts you'd have them before then! -
N-400 January 2023 Filers

January N400 filers have been hot with getting their interviews scheduled. I think quite a few of us have either been interviewed or have interview dates already. -
Question about proof of US citizenship
Sarge2155 replied to Surzel's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
I would recommend that somewhere along the line you obtain your birth certificate especially if you are going to continue down the immigration lane with USCIS. They are fairly easy to obtain! -
I would say it was a glitch, my wife had her GC in hand and USCIS sent us a interview letter scheduling our interview. We were just as confused as you are now, but we did attend or should I say go to the scheduled interview only to be told it was an error. So yes since you already attended I would say it was an error, but indeed I would bring it to someones attention!

By hook or crook your spouse needs to go, do not reschedule, you need to get it while the getting is good! -

N-400 January 2023 Filers

Better read your interview letter again. You mentioned you did not have much to bring. The letter states if you submitted documents online then you should bring the originals with you to the interview. We all know they might now even ask to see them and what you uploaded is enough, but you gonna take that chance you get a IO in a bad mood that day. My wife's interview is on April 11th. -
USCIS changed from 24 to 48 months on the GC extensions for the I-751. USCIS is starting to send the new 48 month letters out to eligible people yes!

I'm in that area, but you don't necessarily file in Dallas it's online, Dallas is the local office you will interview in Dallas though. My wife has an interview next month! -

Combo interview is a I-751 and N-400 interview combined. -
The bottom line after all is said and done, it's cheaper to keep her!

My goodness man, you are most confused. I don't think at this point you know what you wanna do. Better sit down and breathe before you make any drastic moves. Bottom line you best consult a lawyer!

Speaking from experience, your best offense (since you are going to be the one filing) is to remain civil and cordial, the more you raise a ruckus with her the more pressure and reaction she can levy against you. Like what has been pointed out she only can get a 50/50 split of the assets you accumulated during the marriage, so stop accumulating!! It is in your best interest to get the ball rolling NOW and end this swiftly. Encourage her to naturalize as also what was pointed out her naturalizing gets you off the hook for the I-864. Another important tip: Should you have carnal knowledge with her at any time during this time where you have made it known that you wanted a divorce that will go badly against you later in court. Also protect yourself against false domestic abuse allegations. Depending on your state and in most states the cards are going to be stacked against you. My recommendations do a DIY divorce you can get the forms online again depending on your state. It works well especially if you have no kids as you say, and no property. If you are going to do it...DO IT. Mind you with today's divorces you do not need a reason to divorce each other. File before she does and I am sorry for your troubles, but like war marriage is hell and you have to defend and protect yourself.

Use the resident since date 3 years from that, in addition to still being married to that same spouse. You can apply 90 days prior to you reaching 3 years. As what was pointed out use the USCIS early filing calculator to be sure. Have you already submitted your I-751 ROC? If not you will have to submit that first.

I don't see why that would reset it you would upload as an additional document. Is your timeline correct it's showing no NOA or Biometrics info for your N400 filed 11/2022? -
They (USCIS) are slowly starting to send them out it should not be to much longer for you all to receive them! Several folks including me have gotten them in the last couple of days!
