  1. Yeah it does not make the wait any less short. We filed ours a full day after we became eligible so wait a full 24 hours minimum before you file. I know you are antsee I was too to get it out of the way, but waiting is the safe thing to do.
  2. Are you taking that preliminary test inside your account during the application for the N400 or outside on the USCIS Website? If outside answer that same question and answer inside your account. Otherwise it may be to close in your date. I'm thinking it's to close!
  3. Some get reuse notices some get biometrics appointments. Nobody knows USCIS's rhythm, but normal yes!
  4. Has anyone else that has an active I-751 had a transfer of either their N-400 or their I-751 to a different location?
  5. Like I said not sure if these letters will work, only time will tell. One good thing about it is it can't hurt!
  6. We used that same tactic. Not sure if it will work, but the 751 did get transferred to where the 400 is.
  7. Your 751 has been outstanding for a good while. My wife's 751 was at the Dallas Center too until they transferred it to NBC Missouri to be with the N400. Maybe they'll transfer yours too. Where is your 400 at? Welcome to the thread, hopefully we can all enjoy the last tango with USCIS together!
  8. Give it a couple of days to post. Sometimes it's nothing though.
  9. It is different not sure what it's based on but mine was NBC in Missouri.
  10. Nothing written in stone about either one being fast tracked. But there are several cases of the 751 that have woken up and gotten approved a long with the 400. People some people including me seem to think it does fast track. But like I said nothing written in stone. My 751 was transferred to where the 400 is so I'm thinking combo interview!
  11. Look at your NOA it will tell you in the bottom left corner where your N400 is and give you the address.
  12. Give it a few days to change. Probably your bio reuse or bio letter for your N400 or transfer notice for either your 751 or your N400. It also could be nothing. I've had that happen before.
  13. Don't be surprised if your case either one will be transferred. Seems they transfer the cases to be together at the same office. They transferred our ROC to NBC where the N-400 is. Several other VJers they have done the same.
  14. Being the fact that the application is calling for it I would include it. My wife has kids but she is not paying any support as they are grown. It let us leave that upload blank. In either case you are gonna have to bring it to the interview whether you upload it or not.
  15. @OldUser As I stated it is not the norm. Of all the hundreds of 751s and N400s that have been adjudicated together for folks here on VJ IMO the risk is negotiable. This UTube clip is kinda biased politically, so I'd take that with a grain of salt. The solution to avoid this possibly happening is simple: hold your N400 until your 751 is approved simple and to the point for those of you that are worried. I chose to submit ours concurrently because that is the trend and a great deal of the time it goes through fine! April 3, 2023 will be 3 years for my wife. I don't see an interview happening before then.
  16. I don't think it's risky at all, but USCIS regulations say you can file both the 751 and the N400 90 days prior to their respective filing times. With the 751 you can risk filing late so not much breathing room there. I've seen N400 cases not being able to approve due to the 751 not being approved. They don't outright deny your case though I've not seen that here in any case. They just kinda held those cases until they were able to adjudicate them. But I guess technically if you lucked out and your case got adjudicated very quick it could happen yes. But when that has happened its not been the norm. To counter that you can always hold your N400 submission until after your 751 is adjudicated and approved before you submit your N400 simple fix if you are concerned about the negligible small risk. I'm just the opposite I've seen the 751 pushed up and woke up due to the filing of the N400 while the 751 is active.
  17. I'm hoping we all are pleasantly surprised with combo interviews and quick adjudications. The N400 has sped up or knocked loose several I751s.
  18. For the N400 yes because even if you can apply 90 days early under the 3 year rule you are not actually at 3 years until you meet resident since and your GC anniversary date hits 3 years! The I-751 can be adjudicated now, but I'm thinking they will wait and do a combo interview. That's not written in stone anywhere but it stands to reason they would not interview you or grant you approval on the N400 until you have met the 3 year rule.
