You can do it yourself without issue. Thousands do. You do not need to emphasise the monetary support you provide to the family when filling out the 129F and interviewing at Manila. It is not necessary. Keep things simple and only provide the evidence that is asked for. Manila is not a difficult embassy. Good Luck!
What he SHOULD do is pay for the divorce with a single lawyer for both. They have not been married long enough to have any shared property or alimony due. He should be a good guy and pay for her flight and put a little money in her pocket for a fresh start.
My wife had her oath ceremony this morning. Her USCIS journey is over. She even registered to vote after the ceremony. Thank goodness we are done. Good luck to everyone.
The boss had her citizenship interview today. She passed easily. We had to fly back early from the Philippines for it but it was worth it to almost be done with USCIS for good. Already received the update that the oath ceremony will be scheduled. We received notification of the interview while in the Philippines for her father's funeral. We were torn between rescheduling and returning early. In the end we feel we made the right decision as you have no control of the rescheduled interview date.

They changed the minimum age for the SRRV during Covid because of abuse of Chinese nationals working in illegal POGOs. It is 50+.
If you are staying for just a year or two it might be easier just to renew your tourist visa periodically.
This sounds like someone you have not met yet. You are opening yourself up to a world of trouble. Just go and live out your days there. At least visit and see what the real deal is.
Not sure where to post this question. My wife's father died so we are currently in the Philippines as of last week. We are planning on staying until August 8. Of course this morning we received notification that her interview is scheduled for July 8. Does anyone have any experience or advice about rescheduling the interview? We could go back to the USA early. It would cost us extra but it is just money, right ;-).
Good. We are leaving today to head back to the Philippines. The process to travel there has gotten much easier. Mothers are going to worry. Rightfully so. The more time he spends with you there the better you will be able to determine if you can trust him to follow through with a petition for you. Good luck!
They forward the medical to the embassy in Manila. Lowers the risk of shenanigans. 😉 The sealed envelope may or may not come after visa approval. Depending on if your one of the lucky ones that gets a digital record.
My wife just received her 10 year Green Card March 15. We filed in Sept. 2021. Comparing her cases with others this seems to be the new normal. Maybe you will get lucky but expect a longer wait. File for your N-400 if you are eligible. It might push the process along.
Green Card received yesterday. I could see it online in USPS informed delivery. They are shipping them with tracking numbers now. I was waiting for the mailman at the front door. He said he didn't have it but he would keep an eye out for it. It magically appeared when he got back to his mail truck. I will be so glad when I don't have to rely on USPS to deliver important mail anymore.

Case Was Approved
On March 5, 2024, we approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.
Good Lord))). That's a surprise. N-400 is also pending as of Jan 2. At least it won't bea combo interview.
Refused is a quirk in the system. Approved visas show as refused for a few days until it turns to issued. A site search will show many posts here on VJ about this issue.
My wife started as an AU on some of my cards while waiting for AOS. She now has 3 cards of her own and I am an AU on one of her cards. She chuckles at that. She now has a 750+ credit score after only 2 years of having her own cards.
