We met in 2009 and remained long distance for much of our relationship. In 2013 I became pregnant with our daughter and we married, but stress of being long distance and not having our immigration plans in order took it's toll on us. We separated and divorced in April of 2014. We have since mended our relationship. Our daughter is in Canada with me and we are anxiously awaiting the time when our family will be whole once again. We decided to apply for the K1 Visa and the light at the end of the tunnel is that soon we will never have to say goodbye again.
