  1. Why have you not filed your taxes? All US citizens must report world-wide income. If you were required to file, you must file back taxes for the 3 most recent tax years. If you were not required to file (income below reporting threshold), you can explain that on the I-864.
  2. Getting the "Block New Topics 2019 is throwing an error"
  3. Another vote to change the name as part of the N-400. Otherwise, it is going to cost you more. In addition, the Certificate of Naturaliztion will be 100% accurate with legal name. You have a single name-change document rather than having to supply both a NC and a court order if needed to prove citizenship.

  6. You cannot use Fedex for a PO Box. I would send the same packet back with a check for $750.
  7. You think they lost your 1st check?
  8. Your case is not unique to Visa Journey. We see wide age gaps from time to time. That's why the answers you have received about the age difference for the Philippines are pretty consistent. And we don't judge......😃 May you have a smooth journey.
  9. It is a great feeling to be out from under the thumb of USCIS...LOL. Good luck. You got this!!
  10. I would use only the 48 month extension letter along with an expired 2 year Green Card. In 2022, my wife didn't receive a new extension letter when she filed her N-400.
  11. That is what I would do. Just get on a plane and return asap. The longer she waits, the more difficult it is likely to be at the border.
  12. ***Hijack comment split to new topic thread***

  14. Age difference won't be an issue for the Philippines. Whether you fill in the forms or not, you will still have to do all the legwork in providing the information and/or documentation. I am moving this topic to the Philippines regional forum for our PI experts to see.
  15. ***Old thread locked to further comments***
  16. The Covid excuse won't work any longer. They could have returned several years ago. Options as I see them: 1. Board a plane and return to the US ASAP. Do not sign an I-407 if asked to do so. Hopefully, CBP will not refer them to an Immigration Judge. 2. Voluntarily surrender their Green Cards by submitting an I-407 from India, then reapply for immigration or visitor benefits. If they want to live in the US, I would try #1 first. Other members might feel differently.
