  1. Better find another plan. Petitioner must be there before she enters (or at the same time). This is a visa which is intended to re-unite the petitioner and beneficiary. @Boiler is right regarding the timeframe.
  2. It's possible. It would also be too early if US citizen spouse was not a citizen for the full 3 years.
  3. OP says she filed 2 days after the 90 day window opened.
  4. Since ours was a combo interview, I took updated marriage evidence from time of I-751 submission. I took tax transcripts, even though I had uploaded them.
  5. You can probably just scan them into a Word document, then handwrite what they want. What do the instructions on the RFE say? Do they say specifically?
  6. The bigger concern would be if they determine she abandoned her Green Card. I would consult an immigration attorney.
  7. Not a mistake by the officer. Any trip of more than 180 days as a Green Card holder will get unwanted attention. USCIS can look at your entire history as a legal resident when applying for citizenship (regardless of which rule you filed under). BTW, If applying under the 3 year rule, you needed only to list 3 years of travel. I have heard that the new N-400 states that.
  8. Yep. And Iran thought Israel's response was finished.....If the Mossad wants you, they will get you.
  9. ***Topic is closed as no immigration issues or questions were presented in this thread***The OP is free to start a new topic***
  10. 1. Yes. You are the petitioner. 2. This is your step-child.
  11. ***Comment containing irrelevant & confusing information removed. This is an F4 visa case, not an F-4 U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission matter***
  12. The OP should have already submitted income evidence when she submitted her own I-864.
  13. If the joint sponsor isn't qualified, the Consulate Officer isn't going to approve the I-864.
  14. May be a consulate specific thing. However, I fail to see the need for a wet signature. Makes zero sense to me.
  15. I'm not sure why a Consulate Officer would need a wet signature on an I-864. For other civil documents such as Birth Certificates and marriage documents, originals are required.
  16. Other than explaining that you are in "authorized stay" during adjustment of status, showing your passport and showing the receipt for the I-485 are all you can do.
  17. I remember an identical situation a few years back. I believe the victim was a teacher.
  18. This story sounds very familiar. Did you try an expedite for someone a few years ago using this situation?
  19. If she cannot qualify, do NOT ask her to submit an I-864. That would be useless since a joint sponsor must be fully qualified. Seek a well-qualified Joint sponsor.
  20. Primary residence cannot be used as assets. The Consulate Officer evaluates the totality of the financial circumstances. As such, the consulate officer has the discretion to ask for a JOINT sponsor. Joint sponsors must submit an I-864. I would find a well-qualified one. That would be the path of least resistance.
