  1. ***Moved to Working and Traveling During US Immigration***
  2. September of this year? If you file now, I'd say your chances are a little less than 50/50....but you can throw the dice and gamble.
  3. So am I. I see "mailing address" and "physical address".....no "legal address". Terminology is important in immigration. Good luck on the rest of your journey.
  4. *****Op comment edited to remove attachment containing personal information***Please do not post any personal information in comments*** @RubysMom That attachment exposed a Name, an address, an email address, and a phone number. Do not post anything with that info on VJ.
  5. Not true. USCIS uses 2 addresses: "Mailing Address" and "Physical Address".
  6. As primary sponsor, you will submit an I-864 Affidavit of Support. If your annual income does not meet requirements, you can use assets or a Joint Sponsor who must also meet all the requirements of sponsorship.
  7. I've never noticed the term "legal address" on a USCIS form. Which form are you talking about?
  8. My wife entered the US about 30 days prior to our 2nd anniversary. Even the CBP officer said, "You could have been an IR-1 if you had waited". As a result, we had to file an I-751 two years later. The I-751 is a hassle....and it then took 44 months to be approved (with no RFEs). I wish we had waited.
  9. The correct answer is the date the marriage is considered legal. In some countries, it is when the marriage paperwork is signed. In other countries, it is when the marriage is registered with local officials. Example: Wife and I had our "ceremony" on July 27th. My wife, the two required witnesses, and I signed our marriage contract on that day. However, we registered our marriage with our local Household Registration Office on July 30. By Taiwanese law, July 30th is our official date of marriage.
  10. There is no invoice number for K-1 cases. I am 100% sure. Maybe you can email the documents to the consulate.
  11. Apprehensions of criminals and those unlawfully in the US is the appropriate term.
  12. The person with the record is the petitioner.
  13. There will be no K-3. Those are obsolete. This sounds like a case for an attorney. Have you consulted any?
  14. No person is more blind than he who refuses to see. TDS is real. "No violence". "Just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn". Maxine Waters Newsome Bass Those inflicted with TDS.
  15. "Just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn".....that's why.
  16. President Trump has an obligation to protect federal resources when incompetent governors won't.
  17. I didn't see Trump burning any cars, or trying to murder law enforcement personnel. Maxine Waters said "There is no violence". Waters, Newsome, and Bass are simply crazed by their TDS and their support for open, lawless borders. These people are endangering law enforcement personnel, citizens and lawful residents by their inaction. I just hope enough California voters finally wake up and toss these people out on their ears.
  18. Interesting and very significant change.
  19. ***Thread is moved from K-1 Procedures since OP is beyond that point***
  20. **Moved to the Philippines regional forum***
  21. **Hijack comment and reply split to new topic***
  22. ***Topic split from another member's thread***
