  1. Who is the petitioner? Simple question which you have not answered.
  2. The fee increases also created a rush to beat the April 1 deadline.
  3. Biden could attempt to take some glitter away from Trump tonight......but I doubt it will happen soon. I hear that the Biden team is making calls to the dem delegates asking them to ride with Joe. The dem civil war is making me binge on popcorn.
  4. It is recommended to wait until visa is in hand and has been checked for accuracy. Good luck.
  5. Could play out. Then, 100% of the blame is on Biden and Jill, leaving the party to say "I told you, so, Joe". It is also possible that no other dem candidate wants to face Trump, the American Lion this year. Who wants to enter the 2028 race as damaged goods? But I see this as extremely risky, too, for the down ballot . Right now, the polls I follow show the dems losing everything in November. For the sake of the down ballot candidates, the dems need to convince Joe to step aside....even if the top of the ballot is a loser.
  6. I don't think they can bypass Harris as POTUS candidate. However, the possibilities for her VP are wide open. I would bet against Whitmer. Maybe they choose Shapiro. They need Pennsylvania.
  7. **Comment removed in favor of new topic***
  8. @Pinkrlion asked an important question: Who is the US citizen/Green Card holder? Is it Husband, you, or wife #2?
  9. Your attorney is giving you different information vs the official consulate website: Apply for a U.S. Visa | Immigrant Visa Wait Times - Nepal (English) (ustraveldocs.com)
  10. The 3 year old marriage is invalid for US immigration.
  11. Based on a very sufficient annual income, you don't need a joint sponsor, and you don't need to use assets.....I am 100% confident.
  12. Taxes are irrelevant when calculating current annual income unless you are self-employed. As I said, your question comes up often. As an employee, USCIS will use your paystubs to evaluate your ability to support a new immigrant in the future...not what you reported to the IRS over the past 3 years.
  13. I don't see a problem with your current annual income. We see inaccurate attorney advice from time to time. Your question is not unique. We see this question frequently.
  14. What is your current annual income now? Curren annual income is calculated as follows: Gross income from most recent pay period multiplied times the number of pay periods in 12 months = current annual income. Do that for both jobs, then add them. For a 4 person household, $40K is not enough for income needed for the I-864 (when applying for Adjustment of Status), imo, since $39K is the I-864p level.
  15. Agree. Divorce wife #2, then roll the dice.....
  16. The attorney is wrong.. What is the source of your income? "Qualifying" income means documentable and sufficient.
  17. Taxes are not important unless you are self-employed. CURRENT annual income is king.
  18. 1. Qualifying income doesn't have to be taxable. If you have documentable, qualifying income (taxable or not), you can use it. 2. Using a primary residence would be difficult.
  19. Very interesting that USCIS will scrutinize the entire living arrangements, not just marriages....and the later ramifications are significant.
  20. I think the barrage of dem elites pressuring Biden out has begun. I read he is still resisting.
  21. Who is the petitioner? What visa category? Sounds like he is not qualified to receive a spousal visa. 9 FAM 302.12 (U) INELIGIBILITY BASED ON OTHER ACTIVITIES - INA 212(A)(10) (state.gov) U) INA 212(a)(10)(A) provides that an IV applicant who is coming to the United States to practice polygamy is ineligible for a visa. 9 FAM 302.12-2(B) (U) ...
