  1. Update!!! Just got an email which says we WILL have a combo interview!!!!! Woo Hoo!!! "USCIS Applicant, This email is in reference to your upcoming interview at the Dallas Field Office, it is for an I751(Petition to Remove Conditions) and N400 (Application for Naturalization) combination. It is imperative that your spouse accompany you to this interview, also that you bring proof of a marital union. Please refer to https://www.uscis.gov/i-751 for examples. We look forward to meeting each you both at your interview in the near future."
  2. That is not true. "Federal financial aid (such as Pell Grants and student loans) and state-based financial aid (such as the California Dream Act, Cal grants, institutional grants, dream loans, scholarships) are not included in public charge rules. "
  3. This is a tough one. Your evidence seems more than adequate. Why would the officer focus on your previous marriages?
  4. I would try to get a new original. A copy will not suffice unless it is a certified copy. The original should not have been sent to USCIS. Good luck.
  5. Many people? Judgement? Personally, I see none at all in this thread. Good luck. I'm out
  6. By law, every visitor is assumed to have immigrant intent. A spouse in the US is a strong tie to the US.
  7. Every single visit is at the discretion of CBP....regardless of which passport you use. If they suspect that you want to enter as a visitor with intent to stay and adjust status, they can certainly deny entry due to suspected fraud. Yes, you have a history. Yes, 2 years is pretty accurate.
  8. My wife and I met in May 2015. By the end of July 2015, we were married and living together. No issues at all.
  9. Why? A person who enters without inspection cannot adjust status. She had to do consular processing, didn't she?
  10. Thanks. Yes, my wife has learned all 100 questions and answers.
  11. A few minutes ago, I finished printing out wife's 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021Tax transcripts, several Joint Bank account statements, several credit card statements, and all leases since we filed the I-751. I gathered some original documents just in case they ask: My BC Our marriage Certificate Her previous divorce cert. My previous wife's death certificate A couple pictures My wife has all 100 Naturalization questions (and answers) memorized. I believe we are ready.
  12. We filed I-751 in March 2019. We filed wife's N-400 (5 year rule) ONLINE on Aug 7, 2022 Received N-400 Interview notice on Nov 9, 2022 We are preparing for a combo interview in Dallas on Wednesday, Dec 14, 2022.
  13. I don't think USCIS will issue an extension letter to extend the extension already granted by filing an I-751. Extension letters, to my knowledge, extend the date on the Green card.
