  1. Never seen anyone get that info from NVC. If you are successful, please post how you did it. Good luck.
  2. I would take the transcripts, although the officer might not even ask for them. Our officer did not.
  3. Yes. Name, dates, and result are required. "Approved" then "withdrawn" would be appropriate in the RESULT box.
  4. My wife recently naturalized under the 5 year rule. Online filing was a piece of cake. We didn't need to submit bona fide marriage evidence. Filing to oath took less than 6 months. I hope your journey will be fast, too. Being out from under the thumb of USCIS is a wonderful feeling.
  5. There were no changes in the law. You were badly misinformed. If you qualify, the 5 year rule is a good choice, imo.
  6. Laws and "gun free zones" mean nothing to crazy people and criminals. I offer Chicago as a prime example. Each individual is responsible for his/her own personal, legal protection. When a bad guy shows up with a gun, the best protection is 2 good guys with guns....imho.
  7. OK. That would be real progress. That range would certainly help planning a long trip easier.
  8. I see no reason to mention the K-1. It could raise questions. Of course evidence of your time together, whenever, is good.
  9. That is correct. However, CURRENT annual income is king.
  10. Yes. It appears you completed the I-130 incorrectly. It appears you either marked both choices or you marked neither Adjustment of Status or Consular Processing for your wife's process toward legal residency. Thus, your I-130 is stuck at USCIS. If your wife is currently outside the US, you will have to pay for and submit an I-824 to move the I-130 to NVC. This could delay the process for up to a year. If, on the other hand, your wife is CURRENTLY in the US, she can file I-485, I-765, I-131 packages to apply for a Green Card.
  11. I would NOT include the K-1 withdrawal letter. I don't see the withdrawal as evidence of a bona fide relationship. The best evidence you can provide is your marriage certificate and evidence of time actually spent together. The apartment rental contract and flight info are good evidence. I would throw in 1 or 2 personal affidavits. Good luck. I hope you have a smooth journey.
  12. ***I moved this to the Philippines Regional Forum****
  13. Bottom left corner of paper I-130 receipt should show USCIS Service Center. NVC stage is after the I-130 is processed and approved. At that point, you will have to pay NVC fees and submit more documentation.
  14. Maybe get an additional job to boost income.
  15. My pleasure to help. The I-865 is not as well known as the I-864...LOL.
  16. Correct, all sponsor and petitioners must report address changes within 30 days of moving if an I-864 is in force. The I-865 must be mailed. i-865instr.pdf (uscis.gov) "If at any time in the past you completed Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, to sponsor an immigrant, you are required to report your change of address within 30 days of the change if the sponsorship agreement is still in force. NOTE: Each sponsor must submit a separate Form I-865 to report an address change, even if sponsors share the same address"
  17. If you decide to submit an AR-11 , it can be done online. Takes about 5 minutes. Alien’s Change of Address Card | USCIS Be aware that all sponsors/petitioners must report address changes, too, by completing and physically mailing an I-865 to USCIS. Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address | USCIS
  18. Can you be more specific, please? Thanks
  19. You can leave any time you want. There are no immigration checks when departing the US. However, numerous people have made such decisions which they regretted alter. The two questions I see standing out are: 1. Is the relationship salvageable? 2. Do you intend to continue on a path to legal residence in the US? If you leave the US without an approved Advance Parole document at this point, you will abandon your Adjustment of Status. Good luck. I hope you find peace in the direction you decide to go.
  20. The dems are playing with fire...and they are too stupid to see it.
  21. No, she cannot work remotely inside the US while visiting. She would need authorization to work. People have been removed and banned for that.
  22. She can't work inside the US while visiting. She should be prepared for that conversation at the border.
