  1. For an IR visa, the priority date is irrelevant. The only relevant date is the DQ date. In your case, that is 11/1/2022.
  2. The Visa Bulletin is irrelevant to an IR visa. This is how the DQ process works: 1. Case is DQ'd by NVC. 2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC. 3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month. 4. NVC schedules interview when case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate. 5. NVC notifies person of interview date via email. 6. NVC then sends case to consulate. After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case. I suggest you look at other timelines from DR. That might give an idea of how long others have waited.
  3. Political issues aside (no one is going to change another person's opinion, imo), my point is that many people don't understand how this association of states was designed and setup. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution (Government), nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
  4. Contact the consulate and ask them to help. Give them all the info about your mother. I hope that creating a new account didn't overwrite her past information. Good Luck.
  5. Joint Bank account will help. Things showing both of you at same address will help (driver's licenses, taxes, bills, etc. Joint property will help. As a pretty popular YT immigration attorney says "They want to see you both living together in the same household as well as a financial life together"
  6. Yes. Once you take the oath, your Green Card is invalid. They take it before you verbalize the oath.
  7. Correct. This is one of the most misunderstood principles in the US Constitution... States' rights.
  8. 100% inaccurate. The Permanent Resident Card is a Green Card. Some of these USCIS tier 1 people have no training at all?
  9. Thanks. Long Live Taiwan!!! Hopefully, they will process your N-400 soon. I can't verbalize how great it is to be rid of USCIS forever!!! Good Luck.
  10. I would mention to the CBP officer that "I'm entering after 2 years of marriage. I should get a 10 year Green Card". You could enter on the date of visa expiration, and it wouldn't cause a problem. Good Luck!!
  11. Will you be married for 2 years or longer on the day you enter the US? As long as you enter on or before the visa expiration date, you will be fine to enter.
  12. I hope USCIS gets these 48 month extension letters out to EVERYONE soon. Too many people are getting caught in the "trap" of not having evidence of legal status and the inability to get an info pass appointment. In fact, it's actually a denial of your right as a legal resident. I agree with @OldUser and @Misscloud. The only other suggestion I have is to file for citizenship whenever you get the chance. Then you'll be rid of USCIS !! Good luck. Please let us know how it goes.
  13. You are in line for an oath ceremony.... like everyone else. One option is to reschedule the oath ceremony if selected.
  14. I know of no way to find that data. However, you can find issued visa numbers by post here: Monthly Immigrant Visa Issuance Statistics (state.gov)
  15. The Consulate at Nairobi is working Visas Issued Nairobi Dec 2022 CR1- 2 IR-1- 26 IR-2- 17 IR-5- 16
  16. How do you know there have been no interviews?
  17. Personally, I think you need an attorney to help you structure and submit the amendment. Failure to amend the I-751 will, likely, trigger big problems later.
  18. As I stated, you need to amend the I-751 to a divorce waiver after you receive a divorce decree. Your I-751 was sent as a joint petition?
  19. You need to amend your I-751 to a divorce waiver after you get a divorce decree. I suggest you consult an attorney.
  20. Sounds like there is a long queue at NVC for the Kenya consulate. It seems you have had RFEs during the USCIS part of the process.
  21. He can apply, but the wait is over 6 months for a B2 interview, and he is not likely to receive a tourist visa due to immigrant intent. Consulate Officers are aware that some people want to commit visa fraud by lying to CBP about their intent.
