  1. Depends on how often your local office conducts ceremonies and how many new citizen applicants are in line. In my wife's case, we received the scheduling letter about 3 weeks after the interview. Her oath ceremony took place 6 weeks after her interview (just as the officer had told her). In her case, 1,000 new citizens were naturalized in the ceremony.
  2. Can't be done without misrepresentation. That would be an unwise choice. This sounds like they plan to lie to immigration. That is not condoned or tolerated here. That would be a violation of the terms of service for Visa Journey.

  5. Have you read the information under the guides section of Visa Journey?
  6. All that is irrelevant to your case. Get an attorney. You have a possible material misrepresentation issue. That should be your concern!
  7. Never heard of this "consummation statement"......ever. Consummation, in the eyes of USCIS, means having been in the same place either during or after the ceremony.
  8. Not needed. Consummation means having been in the same place either during or after the marriage ceremony. A statement carries no weight.
  9. Not for the NOA1. However, an approval (Noa2) is valid for 4 months after USCIS approval. That can extended by the consulate.

  11. You are correct. It will be scrutinized more than once, I fear.
  12. " I came as F1 student visa to US but i never went to school i wasn't able to." That's pretty clear.
  13. A petitioner living outside the US can show evidence of INTENT to re-establish domicile.
  14. I guess we got lucky in one way. Our joint I-751 had been sitting at MSC (NBC) with a status of "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" since May 2019 (filed in March 2019). We never received notification that the I-751 had been transferred to local field office. Filed N-400 in Aug 2022. Then, 3 months after my wife filed her N-400, she received a citizenship interview notice. Then several days before her interview, we received an email from the field office stating it was mandatory for me to be there because it would be a combo interview.
  15. The officer conducted a combo interview without your I-751 records? In our combo interview, our IO asked us specific questions regarding documents which wereonly in the I-751 file. What is the official status of your N-400?
  16. I think most people, who legitimately came for an education, would have returned home. In fact, I think that is a condition of an F-1.
  17. I thought you had to prove that you can pay before receiving an F-1 visa.
