  1. ***Question and reply split from existing thread***
  2. Real estate is not classified as a reportable foreign asset (as are foreign accounts, etc). However, any income from the rental or sale of that real estate would have to be reported as income.
  3. ***Two non-contributory comments removed***
  4. Your problem is going to be domicile. Make sure you show that you are in Morocco temporarily....that you will move back to the US.
  5. I-485s do not go to NVC. The next notification will be either an approval, an RFE, or an interview notice...from your local office.
  6. She did not say she was married in that B2 application, did she?
  7. I have never heard of this letter being issued after a Green card. As @Ontarkie stated, If you never filed for Removal of Conditions (if required), then, that is an issue, too.
  8. No. That would violate the conditions of your visitor privileges. Can My Child Attend School in the US on a Tourist Visa? (ailawoffice.com)
  9. ***Moved to Working and Traveling During US Immigration***
  10. She was denied because the consulate officer didn't think she would return to home country after her studies. That will have no effect on either a K-1 or CR-1.
  11. The numbers on the tax forms are entered in those 3 blocks.
  12. 1. Normal. Just give them what they want. 3. They were very specific. Mail the RFE as instructed. Never make assumptions when dealing with USCIS.
  13. The "3 most recent tax year" blocks are to be transcribed directly from the past tax forms. They have nothing to with current annual income.
  14. Sounds like there were 2 processes going on. Sounds like there were two I-130s. Sounds like a prospective visa was canceled...not LPR status (Green card). This does not affect the Green Card which was issued.
  15. Another vote for a Utah online marriage, a quick meeting anywhere, then filing the I-130. The immigration process is quite lengthy. The sooner you start, the sooner your spouse can then enter the US and become a legal resident. Why wait until December?
  16. Same for us. Wife's N-400 took only 4 months for approval (44 months after filing her I-751).
  17. Congratulations!!! The N-400 process is much easier (if you decide to go that route). I'm not sure what the record is for I-751 processing, but after 40 months of waiting, my wife filed her N-400. Four months later the I-751 and N-400 were both approved after a combo interview. We, also, had no RFEs or rejections. Again, congratulations!!!
  18. Yes, but if the consulate accepts it, they will process the I-130 directly.
  19. Sounds like you did everything correctly. Good job!! Your experience is valuable to other members.
  20. Insignificant, imo. I wouldn't worry about it.
  21. In what field of study? In what field are you try to secure a career?
  22. Answer is "Yes". It is easy to explain.
  23. You got lucky, imo. I wouldn't recommend doing that. I don't think that bringing in a large quantity of prescription drugs which are NOT for personal use is a good idea.
