  1. You can try sending the extension, but there no guarantee that will prevent an RFE. Nothing will be sent back right away unless you omit required documents. Also be aware that any delay in the I-485 for required initial evidence (RFIE) will place a hold on the EAD.
  2. I would appeal that decision if you applied soon after marriage or arrival in the US.
  3. The Dallas Field Office emailed us 2 days before the N-400 interview to inform us it would be a combo. Luckily, I had already prepared for such.
  4. Wife did biometrics for I-751 in April 2019. I don't recall ever seeing "Fingerprints Taken". However, wife received a notice that I-751 biometrics were reused the same day she filed the N-400. I-751 status never changed from "Case is Ready....." until after the N-400 combo.
  5. We had a combo interview, but we never got a "Case was Transferred" status. Status was "Case is Ready to be scheduled for an interview" from May 2019 until after our combo interview in Dec 2022.
  6. You didn't say that earlier. You just need to keep checking for available interview slots.
  7. Some people are receiving corrected Green cards in just a few days. Don't complicate things by filing an unneeded I-751.
  8. There is no reason to file the I-751 if she entered the US via a CR-1/IR-1 visa 2 years after marriage. There is no choice here. File the I-90 to correct the card. If she wants evidence of her status, get an infopass appointment for an ADIT stamp.
  9. It's a default statement NVC is pushing to many people. If you are confident of your current annual income, I wouldn't worry about it. The CO will make the final decision.
  10. In times past, resubmitting documents put back at the end of the queue. Hopefully, someone has recent experience.
  11. Some consulates require you to schedule your own interview if expedited. I would email the consulate for instructions.
  12. But now, the OP wants to apply for a B2.
  13. I can't answer that. I do know that there are a LOT of expedite requests. Everyone thinks their case deserves to be pushed to the front of the line ahead of everyone already waiting. A LOT of people request expedites. It does no harm in trying.
  14. I would have an I-864A ready. The CO has discretion to require it. What NVC did is irrelevant.
  15. You are misinformed. You can request an expedite if your case qualifies. There is no charge for expediting family based petitions. Premium Processing is not available. How to Make an Expedite Request | USCIS
  16. Looks like, roughly, about another 9-11 months or so just for the USCIS part of the process. Then comes the NVC part, and later, the Consulate part (interview). At which USCIS Service Center is the I-130 being processed?

  19. A properly filed I-485 grants the applicant authorized stay inside the US until the adjustment of status is either approved or denied. However, be aware of the restrictions associated with adjustment of status.
