    "At NVC" was, likely, an error on their part. "Refused" is the correct status until the consulate receives the medical report and issues the visa. No reason to stress out.

    Checking USCIS every day is not healthy, imo. Shifting your focus to visits during the process might be less painful. Good luck.

    You will receive no updates until either an approval or an RFE. The consulate in Greece will have no knowledge of your case for about another year, at least. This entire process takes about 18 to 24 months on average.

    I have never really placed much trust in USCIS estimates. But, currently, data from Visa Journey users also shows an average of 382 days between filing date to USCIS approval for I-130 petitions at Nebraska. It sucks, and I feel your pain. Staying busy and preparing for the next step in the anxiety-causing process is about all a person can do. Every day is one day closer to approval. Good luck.

    1. The I-94 dictates how long she can legally stay in the US during her visit. 2. There is no sponsorship for B2 visas. She will have to apply on her own merits. She should be prepared to show strong ties to her country. Your full support does not help her case. Your I-134s could also harm her case. Good luck.

    You don't file anything with NVC. The foreign fiance will take a completed I-134 to the interview.

    The former (once NVC receives the case). Delay in completing everything at the NVC level. Just don't pay the NVC fees until a few months before desired departure.

    One more thing: A reissue would require a new medical, extra fees, and possibly, another interview.

    No. Visas cannot be extended. If the traveler cannot leave due to circumstances beyond his/her control, the consulate can, at their discretion, re-issue it. I strongly advise him to enter the US prior to expiration of his visa. He can then immediately return to home country to tie loose ends, etc.

    I don't see a problem. The officer probably won't even ask. Unless you misrepresented yourself the last time you entered the US, it shouldn't be a problem.

    Any person who applies for B2 visa is already assumed to have immigrant intent, and intent to stay illegally and/or bypass the long immigration queue. Having a US spouse is a very strong tie to the US. The onus is on him to overcome that obstacle. In the end it is CO discretion.

    That ship has sailed in your case. The option is to file an I-130 for each of them to apply via consular processing. No other discussion is even allowed here on Visa Journey. Good luck.

    No. They cannot enter the US as visitors with the intent to stay and file an I-485. That is visa fraud. You can file an I-130 for each of them right now to start the visa process. But it will be a couple years for your mom, and it will be 15+ years for your brother to immigrate through you.

    You can delay the case at NVC by not paying the fees or by not submitting documents until you are a few months from desired departure. You can delay for a year.
