Me and Robbie met online on December 14, 2002. And I was totally charmed by his wit, mind and how he expressed himself. :">
Later I asked him to send his pictures so I have idea how he looks like..he did, but my first thought was "Oh, no...FAKE!!" The guy on the pictures was way too attractive to be a reality! So, I asked if he had a webcam, he told me that he would buy it and he needed a hair cut "to be pretty for me". When I saw him on cam - I had no words! He was WOW.
We started chatting and spent hours-days-months getting to know one another this way, using yahoo, e-mails, SMS`es and other possible means of communication. And still we spend all our free and not so free chatting and talking..can`t get enough of one another.
We met in person in Prague in November 2003, we wanted to explore this truly beautiful city together. It was incredibly romantic...and we had our beautiful time there. So one day Robbie popped up a question, because "he couldn`t leave without asking me to be his wife" - he said...It impressed me but I felt he was the one, and I said "YES".
Next time we met on New Years and spent wonderful time in Kiev, celebrating and simply living together...enjoying things, he met my parents too..
But Robbie wanted, to ask their permission in accordance with his traditions...so he got back and was looking for a ring..and his next visit he surprised my parents because we`d kept that in secret for them! He proposed in Russian, too...we all had tears!
On August 27 we were married - it was one of the most beautiful days in our life... all I can say now: "Married life is great and fun, but requires efforts from both sides to make it work. In other words...Happy marriage is a product of a hard work and romantic vacations together in the middle of nowhere..;-)
