In December 2013, I flew from Hong Kong to Los Angeles for my sister's wedding where I first met Michael. He was my groomsman and I was his bridesmaid. We spent the whole day together which started with him walking me down the aisle. He drove me to the reception where I caught the bouquet and he caught the garter; It's like a match made in heaven! We also spent time together at the after party until 4am and everything from there is like a fairytale.
Sadly, reality hit and I had to fly back to Hong Kong. It was the saddest flight back because back then I didn't think we would be anything more based on one day spent together. He never stopped communicating with me and when I visited during the next summer, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend over a plate of cheesecake lighted with a candle with chocolate syrup on the edges that forms the letters 'Will you be my girl?'. I said yes and over a year later, he proposed to me at a fancy restaurant, with a band at the rooftop overlooking the city. He sang our song to me, got down on his knees and asked me to marry him. He's my one in a million and I cannot wait to be his wife. We are getting married in November at the same church where we first met. <3
