  1. Yes, it definitely was! The hardest part was writing on the tablet with the stylus but thankfully the IO was patient with me. 🤣
  2. Yes, I was relieved that it was so straightforward. In my mind it was going to be a lot more complicated. 😆 While I was in the waiting room they called on a bunch of other people that were getting their oath ceremony notice so maybe that's how they always do things here.
  3. Thank you! No, I don't think they usually do same day oath ceremonies in Phoenix. It'll be on March 24 at the court house.
  4. Sorry for keeping everyone on pins and needles but I had to finish up the work day after my interview. My interview was at 8:45am so I was allowed to enter at 8:30am. Getting through security and checking in only took about five minutes. The IO was about five minutes late but then came out and called my name. He was professional but very nice. We went back to his office where he took my picture and biometrics. He then asked me to raise my right hand and swear to tell the truth. After that he asked for my green card and driver's license and asked if I had been studying. I told him that my husband had been quizzing me so he was sure that I'd do well. He proceeded with the civics questions which were: 1) What is one right or freedom from the First Amendment? 2) What is one promise you make when you become a United States citizen? 3) Who was President during World War I? 4) What ocean is on the West Coast of the United States? 5) What is the capital of the United States? 6) Name two national U.S. holidays Reading: Where is the White House? Writing: The White House is in Washington D.C. After that the IO asked me for my name, date of birth, country of birth, phone number, address, where I work and what my husband's name is. Then he moved on to a bunch of questions from Part 12 in the N400. The IO then had me sign some things on the tablet and that was it! He told me that he would take me back to the waiting room and that I should wait there to get my oath ceremony notice. I was a little surprised by that. I thought I would just be notified through my online account/mail. I waited maybe 10-15 minutes and then someone came out, called my name and gave me my oath ceremony notice. I'll be attending on March 24. So, super easy! IO didn't want to see any of the documents I brought at all and the whole thing only took about 30 minutes.
  5. @Stillwinning!!!😊 and @Bujjigaadu I was approved! 🥳 Getting ready to write about it!
  6. If the interview was scheduled you should be able to see the letter on the documents tab.
  7. Agreed! Everyone is so nice. Yeah, I don't remember where the other field offices are that seem to be super fast.
  8. I filed at the end of December 2022. Biometrics were reused and my interview was scheduled on February 2. The interview is on Friday. It can't hurt to at least review the civics questions and start practicing. When I checked the USCIS site they estimated my processing time to be 16.5 months. After filing it said 10 months which also wasn't accurate.
  9. @knowing Yes, I am. I work at home so I'll just get up, go to the interview and log on to work.
  10. Exactly. The processing timelines really seem to vary but based on the timelines I had seen for Phoenix I figured it should go pretty fast for us and it did! It's nice to go through it with others that can relate!
  11. Thank you! Hopefully everything goes well and I can report good news. 😀
  12. So far I'm feeling fine but once I get to Thursday night I'm sure I'll have trouble sleeping and then it'll really hit me Friday morning. 🤐 At least my interview is in the morning and then I can get on with the rest of my day. 😀
  13. The interview notice just says to bring the interview notice, your green card, your passport and any evidence of Selective Service Registration (if applicable). If you're filing based on the 3-year rule it says to bring your marriage certificate, proof of death or divorce for prior marriages for you and your spouse and your spouse's birth or naturalization certificate. I'm filing based on the 5-year rule so I plan on bringing the items listed in the first paragraph. I was also going to bring my driver's license and the tax returns (which I also uploaded).
  14. Turns out I hadn't practiced since February 19 so I should do it now just to make sure I didn't forget anything. Aside from that I just need to look over my application and make sure I can remember my travel dates in case they ask.
  15. Congratulations! It's great to see that interviews are being scheduled. 🥳
  16. My interview is next Friday but I have to admit that I haven't practiced for at least a week. I feel like I've memorized the questions and answers by now although I should practice again shortly.
  17. Congratulations! Did they ask a lot of questions or was it pretty uneventful?
  18. It doesn't require you to upload your tax returns but you can if you want. I did.
  19. I filed based on the 5 year rule in December and biometrics were reused. My last biometrics were from 2016.
