    That's so nice of him! What time is your interview? Since my husband and I both work from home it had been a while since we had to get up at 6:00am. 😆

    Best to be sure you hear one of the alarms. 🤣 No, I didn't bring any photos since I filed based on the 5-year rule so the only marriage related document I had to upload was my marriage certificate. Yes, I feel like I just got here yesterday!

    Surprisingly I fell asleep pretty easy. I thought I was going to have trouble falling asleep but maybe it helped that it had been a long week and I was super tired. 😴 My interview was at 8:45am and the USCIS office was 25 miles away so we set two alarms to make sure we got up. 🤣

    Yes, let's hope for an easy, straightforward interview! Where are you originally from? Does your home country allow dual citizenship?

    I was so nervous but once we got started on the civics questions I felt much more relaxed. You got this!

    True! But since I knew the letter was going to be coming I was wondering why it was taking so long, especially when the others arrived within a couple of days.

    Yes, I kept checking Informed Delivery and was starting to wonder if I would have to print out the online letter but it eventually came in the mail!

    I had the same thing happen. The two letters that I received after applying and after the biometrics reuse came super fast but it took over a week for me to get the interview letter in the mail.

    Thank you! Yes, Phoenix is pretty quick so hopefully you should get an appointment shortly after the biometrics!

    I received a couple of "We've taken action..." emails this morning. I know that people sometimes ask what they're for but it seems like the USCIS notifications just aren't real-time and they're related to yesterday's status updates.

    Sorry, I just remembered some more questions that the IO asked me: What my social security number is, where are my parents, are they US citizens, do I have any kids, how many times have I been married and how many times has my husband been married. I thought he would ask for my travel dates but all he asked was if I had traveled anywhere in the past six months, which I did not. So again, very easy questions.
