She is planning to immigrate and will apply for the CR1 soon. I'm just wondering if she can still get the B2 in the meantime or will it cause a problem.

I have a relative who applied for a B2 visit visa about a year ago. The interview is scheduled for December 2024. Meanwhile she just got married to a US citizen this month. Should we continue with the B2 visa or just cancel it and start the marriage visa process now?
