  1. It hasn’t been an easy journey. When we started our journey we made a mistake with the impatience from a long distance relationship. But with a detour, we made it to the end 2018-Mar : arrived at SFO with ESTA and denied to enter due to intention to merry 2018-Apr : applied K-1 visa 2018-Dec : Interview for K1 visa, approved 2019-Feb : entered US with K1 visa and married 2019-Jun : filed AOS 2019-Dec : Interviewed and got denied due to the previous attempt to enter with ESTA 2020-Mar : got official letter to denial of AOS 2020-Apr : filed Waiver 2020-Jun : waiver got approved and AOS approved 2020-Jul : obtained green card 2021-Apr : applied for N-400 under INA 319-b 2022-Jul : filed for removing condition and change of address 2022-Sep : N-400 case transferred 2023-Jan : Interview for removing condition and naturalization 2023-Jun : Oath ceremony (ceremony being held only once a year in my area) Even though USCIS letter didn’t mention about bringing guests and contact center said no guests allowed, everyone brought their guests and there were seats for guests. I remember that I checked the case tracker, forums and processing time data here almost everyday. There was countless days I suffered from anxiety and unpredictability. It still feels surreal to me how far we’ve come and how much grow as a family. All we ever wanted was just being together without any obstacles. Even though we came down a long way but here we are. I can’t thank you enough all of you sharing valuable information, and showing sympathy. Sending all hopes and prayers to everyone here waiting for their turns. Happy 4th of July 🎇
  2. That would be unforgettable for my son and myself! This is exactly what my husband is missing and he’s really sad about it.
  3. Thank you! I’ve already checked the website of the venue and luckily it’s an outdoor, kids friendly place. It would be convenient if you can have your toddler in the daycare but like @JeanneAdil said, it would be memorable moment for your son later.
  4. Yeah. I already got the schedule for the ceremony and I have to be there 2 hour prior to the actual ceremony on top of 1.5 hour long event. That’s why. I’m bringing my friend in case my toddler acting up.
  5. Thank you for the clarification! I needed this
  6. Thank you for your response and you gave me such a relief! Since the letter didn’t mention anything about it, I can’t be sure wether I can bring my baby or not.
  7. I know it will depend on the office and the ceremony but I need your experience and some thoughts. I will have my oath ceremony on 27th this month in Charleston, South Carolina. My husband is on deployment so he can’t come with me. I’m asking around my friends if they can come with me to babysit my boy (20months old) while I’m in the ceremony. But in case nobody is available, I need to make sure if I can bring my child. For your information, the ceremony will be held in outdoor venue, and my notice letter doesn’t mention anything about guests except interpreters or attorneys. Also, when I had my interview back in January, I asked my officer if I can bring my child and she said yes. Anybody had similar experience?
  8. Hello I had my citizenship interview on Jan 3rd. It was combined interview for I-751 and N-400 and passed them. To be exact, I got my 10 year green card couple weeks ago and my citizenship remained in "my case was submitted for quality review based on an approval recommendation". My interview officer said everything looked fine and she recommended approval but my case status hasn't changed. Since I changed my name through N-400, I'm aware that I need to wait for juridicial oath ceremony and that's not happening often. How long should I wait to call USCIS to check my case status? Are there anyone gone through similar situation?
  9. Because I filed for N400 under military spouse exemption. Just had my interview on Jan 3rd for I751 and N400 together. Both got approved on spot and waiting for the oath ceremony scheduled.
