You need about six pictures of the Beneficiary if filed with I-765, I-131 AND I-485.

Have been lurking these forums for a few months now, but this is my first post! Hoping I can contribute to the community now that I have submitted my AOS.

I was religiously following the August 2016 Filers thread as we originally submitted my AOS package on the 18th of August...however, we were rejected on account of a foolish mistake, so after re-submitting our NOA1 sits at September 8th, 2016.

Most disappointing event thus far was definitely receiving our package back in the mail, but I have to say, it felt really good getting the NOA1 Text and Email to confirm we are now on the right track.

Can I ask what you did wrong? I'm sending my package next week and I'm super nervous lol, maybe it's something that could help other people

For me it's $1490, but because I'm adjusting from an overstayed visa. I have to file I-130 which is $420 alone. Plus AOS which is $1070

So I am almost done with my whole K1 process, planning to leave Switzerland at the end of august and fly straight to Miami.

Does anybody have any experience with Miami? Is there like a special line or waiting area for "people" like us? Any input is much appreciated

I think you should be happy with 3 months!!! Go back and look how long it took last year around this time!!

you should be fine then! Because we are literally talking about 2 tops 3 months here before you get married and apply for change of status. And they know that.

That is enough!! At least here in Switzerland it is. I am in the process of getting my K1 visa as well. I sent the embassy an email explaining that I would have enough money to sponsor myself until the change of status. I told them that I have a sponsor for that, and that I understand without I couldnt get the change of status done. But we are talking about self sponsoring yourself for about 2-3 months, so I think it should be enough. I told them I have 30k US Dollars on my bank account. They said all I need to do is bring a copy of my bank statement under my name..

I haven't gotten it. I'm lucky that in my country I don't need it for the medical and therefore I can just wait for it to come with the mail from the embassy so I can move forward from there. But I think I stille have whole next week of waiting too... They seems to take 3 weeks from NOA2 till you can get your case number right now.

We are not even that far away from each other haha. You are right, I read somewhere once it is about 3 weeks, you should wait before calling. Well I am not in a hurry anyway hehe, just wanted to make sure everything is on track

Where did you get you new 'tracking' number after NAO2? Directly from the NVC?

Quick question, is this normal that the status is not changing? Like I said before I am waiting for my NAO2 and if I track my number online it still says the same.

Is there a way to find out from which Center I am getting my NAO2?? Because I just saw there is 3 different centers and they all have different time tables.

No you don't have additional 6 months to leave the country... When you get the visa they will print the date to enter so it fits with 6 months from the medical.

Can I use the same medical again for my change of status?? Read somewhere it can be up to a year old

Hey guys, even tho I just became a member I want to thank everybody on here for all the posts! Helped me a lot so far.

Me and my Fiance just sent our I129 package in March and received our NAO1 on March 12th, she lives in Florida, and I live in Switzerland

To my point now hehe, Going after the Timeline it looks like theyre already processing NAO2 from last month, which probably means our would be next. So assuming we get our NAO 2 next month "May" and the stuff gets send to the embassy, is there ANY WAY to push back the interview a little bit? I know not a lot of people have this problem but I was planning to work until the end of year here and we planned a big wedding in February. We never thought everything would happen that fast, we thought the whole proccess takes up to 9 months. But it seems like its more 6ish now. If I/we wouldve known that we probably set a date sometimes in December and I wouldve told my work I quit in october and not December lol

Another questions is,when do the 6 months start before the visa expires? IS it from the day the visa gets issues? Assuming I get the visa July/August I wouldnt have any problems
