Yes I did. Next week Friday August 28th at 8AM. No one is allowed to come with me, it’ll be a 1 on 1 thing behind a glass wall.

Just got informed via the app that my oath have been scheduled and notice sent that was fast
I’m not sure if you have answered that already. But did the status change in your phone app once you had the new interview scheduled? Mine still says interview scheduled 163 days ago. I’m wondering if it will update once I have a new interview.

She was lucky she made it before all this. Fingers crossed! I'm ready to be done with USCIS this way at least. Will still have to do N600 after but no worries on that one at all!
What benefit is the N600 giving you? I’ve never even heard about it. ill be filling for my mom once I’m done, so I’m gonna start it all over for her lol

I know right! Does Tampa not have same day oath or at least really fast? Kansas City are always really slow with their oath unfortunately
I know they didn’t do same day before all of this. My friend had her interview a couple weeks before the shutdown and had to wait for the oath. Maybe they’ll do it now.

I had an inkling to call USCIS this morning but I'm now getting a chance to post about it here @Giovanna024 @JamesFL @sdultra
Here goes....I called USCIS to inquire on my application with the explanation that the online account updates are non-existent and/or inaccurate and that progress on applications are happening WITHOUT any updates on the online accounts but only by calls into USCIS customer service line or snail mail.
I spoke with a lovely agent named Chelsea who was very helpful in providing info on my case. This time, I allowed her to speak about my case without letting her know of the updates other agents shared with me on previous calls.
She told me that the status of my case right now is that I am put in line for an interview since early January (I'm aware), she said that the West Palm Beach FL field office has not sent them any scheduling calendar for interviews just yet and (here's the kicker!) offices in Florida have NOT RESUMED NORMAL SERVICES AND WILL DO SO ON OR AROUND JULY 13, 2020.
She told me that the offices are only open at bare minimal capacity and performing emergency services only and no face-to-face services, even though Florida offices are not listed under the USCIS Office Closure page, they are technically still closed to the general public. This pertains to all USCIS field offices in south Florida - West Palm Beach, Miami, Tampa, Oakland Park, Hialeah, etc.
And I was wondering what’s taking so long in Tampa. This makes sense.... I’m pretty sure I should be one of the first ones to be scheduled once they open again, but this is just crazy. Wouldn’t surprise me if we have another shutdown before the 13th lol. Just our luck.... maybe we’ll be citizens by 2021 haha

Here is a link to see when you need to regristre by to vote for the November election.

At this point I don’t even think I’ll be a citizen by the end of the year lol

I guess Florida is very slow Hope they will not start closing again.
Which is crazy because Tampa was one of the fastest offices before the shutdown.

No updates from Tampa so far my original interview date was March 31st. I know they have been doing oath’s like crazy, but haven’t seen a interview rescheduled from there yet.

We really regret applying for N400 so soon. We’re at 17.5 months of waiting for I751 and we feel like it would’ve just been approved had we not applied for citizenship. The I751 was transferred to a new jurisdiction the day after we applied for citizenship and now it’s just been sitting there for months (literally half a year without being touched)... and lucky us got an RFE for the N400 because the local office was unable to download or “see” any of the docs we uploaded online, ridiculous. Sent the RFE response the next day and two weeks later radio silence and our extension runs out soon.
I know the status never expires, but unfortunately we need that green card or citizenship to renew licenses which conveniently expire the day the extension expires. Our process was smooth sailing until these N400 issues and Covid closures did us in. Over it.
Same here!! My I751 got transferred 172 days ago!!!! And since then nothing. My N400 interview was supposed to be 4 days after they closed down all the offices. But who would’ve known. But I’m sure my I751 would’ve been approved a long time ago already.

Jacksonville is up to 11 months!!! We will not vote this November!
Tampa which used to be one of the fastest in the country is up to 5-11 months. My interview was supposed to be 4 days after they closed. So hopefully I’m in the front of the line. But I bet the backlog will be insane!

My journey will end today! In an hour I’ll have my oath ceremony crazy to think I know some of you guys since 2015 when we first applied for a K1 VISA. I first moved here in 2010 on a F1 student visa, today is finally the day I was dreaming about since I was little boy. I wish nothing but the best to everyone in here!!!
