Hi, I am a US citizen who married a guy from Mexico. My husband was born in Queretaro, Mexico but brought to the U.S. as a child, he went to school here, graduated, we got married had a child, and he has been working for a long time. He was able to receive the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals permit and now I petitioned him and going through the process. We have been married for about 9 years now, but we hadn't submitted anything in the past because I was afraid that he would have to go back to Mexico and stay there for several years.
We began the process in 2015, and my husband applied for an adjustment of status, since he was brought here illegally his request was denied and sent to NVC in Mexico.
We submitted the required forms, and all our documents, and have now received the date for our interview in May.
