  1. My wife filed in May of 2019 and still no interview. She already got her extension stamp stamped 3 times in her passport. Still no update. If your extension is about to expire soon, I would suggest you to call the USCIS and tell them you need to get the green card extended (I-551 stamp in you passport) they will extended for another year and you will still be able to travel.
  2. Hi all, Anyone's expired green card got taken away from the USCIS office when you go and get the extension stamp on your passport? I am seeing people here still have their expired green card with them when traveling. When my wife was at the USCIS that was the first thing they took from her (Expired Green Card) Other question I have is that do you guys get nervous while your traveling and you interview letter shows up and miss the appointment?? We do want to travel but we just had a baby and both of our families are from different countries so we will need to travel for a little longer (need to travel two countries with a baby) so I'm guessing the trip will be more than 4 weeks. Any info would be appreciated! Thank you all
  3. My wife isn't planning to naturalize anytime soon. Due to family and other circumstances she is planning to keep her Korean passport and the green card as of now. But eventually she will naturalize at some point but now just not the right time. Not like me, I can have dual citizenships in Taiwan so for her its a little different. She's about to get her I-551 extended again for the third time.... We have called the USCIS multiple times and spoke with multiple agents and they are aware that her case is way outside of processing time but for some reason they can not give us any updates at all.

  5. Hi all, My wife filed her case back in May of 2019 (SRC) and her case was transferred to our local USCIS office which is in Charleston, SC. She already had her passport stamp renewed twice and about to renew again in March. They kept telling her she should get interview soon but we are still waiting. At this point we don’t even know what to do. It’s been almost 4 years and it’s pretty stressful. We have contacted our Congresswoman and the office said there’s not much they can do. Any help or advice will be appreciated! thank you all!
