Glad to see that a lot of people are making progress!

Does anyone know how to see the status of your visa after the interview? I went back to the ceac website and used the immigrant visa number and i have the same "ready" status and description that i had before the interview.

So I'm a little bit worried. We just submitted the DS-160 online today and made a mistake on the name....I saw that once submitted, you can't make any changes to it. Can I submit I new one? and if so do I have to do anything with the older confirmation.

Can't believe it.

Also, we haven't received Packet 3 yet, we were just trying to get everything done ahead of time.

If anyone has any info on this it would be very much appreciated.

Our case status says "Ready" now! Does this mean the embassy has it? I'm a little confused on the next steps.

I checked mine once I read this and mine says the the same thing as well!

It says "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. consular section." Etc, etc....

I would think that it arrived at the embassy we should be getting the packet 3 sometime soon??

I called NVC today and I received my case #!! and it was also mailed out today to the embassy.

Do you have to wait to start the ds-160? Is there anything additional that I can do now that I have the nvc number or do I have to wait until it reaches the consulate?

We have started already to gather the info for the next packet, affidavit, intent, police rec, and etc.

I received my NOA2!

Now I know that I have to wait for my NVC # but is there anything you all recommend to start preparing beforehand? I'm not exactly sure what is supposed to

happen except that my beneficiary will get her papers in the mail?

I had found this out myself this morning and I was curious to know what this means since I didn't change my address at all and I check my mail everyday. So far my check has been cashed and I think my lawyer received the NOA1(their copy?) because they contacted me regarding a notification and also a note mentioning a change of address.

So this afternoon I called uscis and I was told that the post office had mailed the document back, but when they say that I'm not sure of what "document" they had tried to mail back to me. I'm assuming my I-129f? They had also mentioned that since it has been only a short amount of time it is doubtful that it was accepted/denied and could possibly be related to needing further information for my petition, but he was unsure. So I gave him my address again and they are going to contact me(via mail/e-mail) upon sending the mail. He also mentioned that after they inform me that it is going to be sent that I should contact the post office and find out why it wasn't and/or couldn't be delivered to me.

Hoping that it is not due to missing information, a denial or something along those lines!

So after finding all this out, I'm still somewhat confused at to what I'm going to receive. If anyone has dealt with this, I would love to hear their experience with this!!

Hello Everyone!

My file was sent Mid-Feb. and my check was cashed on Feb. 25th. Not sure why I have not received any notifications via - email or text yet. Has this happened to anyone else?

Either way, I'm hoping to at least receive the NOA1 within the next week or so!
