Hi everyone! I'm on a IR-1 since 2018, not citizen yet, working and in good status. Silly question I feel I need to ask: My wife's son got into trouble in another State and hasn't been convicted but is on probation for 3 years..... basically, he's on the list for having been accused of some sexual offence. Long ugly story with ex-girlfriend. He's hoping to come to our State where all our family resides and asked if my wife and I can host him in our home until he finds his ground here, which is totally fine with me of course. My question is: can it affect my current status, and most importantly my upcoming request for citizenship, please? Thank you.
