  1. Tx very much she has a green card the IR-1 and it expires in May of 2025
  2. Hi Everyone, for no specific reason we have waited until the end of the ninth year of my wife's IR-1 visa to send the N-400. Her visa expires in May of '25. If we are still waiting on the visa process to complete itself as we get closer to that date will we have any problems with immigration or should we take some steps now as we're getting ready to send the N-400? Apply for a visa extension perhaps? Tx very much!
  3. Thank You to everyone for your help! This information was valuable and should let us proceed with some accuracy.
  4. Hi Everyone, my Wife, in some of her most recent trips back home to Colombia noticed that her passport ( Colombian ) doesn't contain date stamps every time for when she entered that country. For the N-400 of course it's required to verify your time outside the USA, does anyone know of other forms to verify the dates of international travel besides looking at your passport stamps? Thanks Very Much!
  5. Thanks to everybody for your valuable info which confirmed what I thought might be the case. We will get her updated wth USCIS at once. You guys are awesome!
  6. Hi Everyone, My stepgaughter is preparing to file her N-400, she came here in 2015 on an IR2 along with her Mom on an IR1. My step-d graduated University here in 2019 and has worked a series of professional-level jobs in her Biology field but these jobs take her to several areas around the Country, and most times she has not informed USCIS of her new residences. Each move was permanent but she got better job offers and would relocate again. Additionally she has purchased and registered a car in another state but maintains our home address in Wisconsin for her Drivers License and much of her mail as well. USCIS requires residential updates and the N-400 asks for them as well but I wanted to get your thoughts on any potential issues she may encounter over not having being current with them. Thanks!
