Our Story
Dermot and I met while I was getting my master's degree at the University of Ireland. I hadn't a clue what he would come to mean to me. What an amazing man! But, like all good things, my stay in Ireland was limited, my student visa expired and off home I went. I can't seem to do things the easy way - I had to fall in love with a man that comes bundled with a million forms and processes and thousands of miles of distance. But we have what "springs eternal in the human breast" -- in a word, hope. Thanks to all for your time and help with this amazing site. Maybe one day we too will be settled happily in the US - or Ireland, wherever God wants us to be.
