Hi there, I-130 took a 1 year and 9 days to get approved. USCIS will send the case to the NVC and create a case to upload AOS and civil documents then consulate will schedule the interview. Best, Stefania

Hi there, Husband filed for his parents on Jan 15, 2022 and they both got approved on Jan 22, 2023. It took an entire year. We are waiting for DQ at NVC. Hope this help.

Hi there, It seems to be that the beneficiary is currently in USA, right? Then, beneficiary must apply for Adjustment of status. Fill form I-485, I-765 and I-131 together and send them with the approval notice you got from USCIS. Please let me know if you need anything else. Stef

Hi, Should I just check back after few days? hopefully it will process) Same thing happened to me, I had to resubmit payment. Status was updated to PAID once it was processed. I already filed taxes for 2022. I submitted transcripts for 2020, 2021 and 2022 along with the W-2. I would suggest having a joint sponsor and fill form I-864A.

Hi pavelp, I would suggest that you start filling the AOS (FORM I-864) and gather all the documentation needed (IRS transcripts, W-2, work letter, paystubs, citizenship proof, etc...) This step took me the longest. 😑 Depending on your case, gather all the civil documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate, criminal record, passport bio, photographs...) Also, make sure scanning/document files are under 2MB. Once you have all of these documents it gets easier to fill the DS-260. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi All, Applied on 01/16/2022. Case was approved on 01/25/2023. NVC created case on 01/28/2023. Received case number and invoice ID via email. Paid the fees 02/03/2023. Payments were fully processed 02/10/2023. Submitted AOS 02/10/2023. Filled DS-260 02/14/2023. Submitted Civil Documents 02/15/2023. Now is time to wait Hope not to get a RFE. Best, Stefania

Hi All, This community has been so helpful. I have a lot of questions about the I-864 form and reading the instructions is more confusing. For the background, my husband and I filed a joint tax return for 2022 so we do not know how this affects the answers. We are sponsoring my husband's mother. We meet the income guidelines. I-864 PART 1 Do I need to select 1.a. “I am the petitioner. I filed or am filing for the immigration of my relative”? or Do I need to select item 1.d. “I am the only joint sponsor”? I-864 PART 6 Item 7. My current individual annual income is: Should I include only husband’s income or combined income? Also, do I need to include my info on the below if we are using combined income? Do I have to file a separate I-864A? Thank you in advance, Stefania
