Thank you so much for your response! May I know what supporting documents do I need to bring with the co-sponsor's I-864?
Employement Verification/Certificate of Employment
Tax Transcripts?
Paychecks?

Hello! I came here via K1 visa. Married my Husband and have recently applied for my adjustment of status together with I-864, EAD, AP (June 13, 2016)- receipt date. I'm scheduled to do my biometrics on July 6. Now my situation is, my husband is having trouble with his new job and he has a feeling he would lose it prior to our interview which is highly likely to happen. He's been actively seeking for jobs and there's no luck at the moment. What advice would you give us regarding this matter? Can we still use a co sponsor if we already have submitted our application?
Thank you!

My Petitioner is currently residing at Louisiana but we decided that I just enter Los Angeles on March 25, 2016 instead and stay with my relatives there. He will follow after a week which is April 2. The reason for this is that our wedding will happen in Los Angeles on April 5, 2016 so I'm coming a week earlier to coordinate the wedding. I'm wondering if this would cause a problem when I get interviewed by the immigration office at LAX. Should I just go straight to Lousiana and just travel together going to LAX?

Fortunately he did. His current offer is at 52, 000 dollars. Thanks! I'm excited but anxious too

His 2015 Tax returns are expected to be done and approved March 2015. He already filed it. His jobs are short term as he's been studying (Bachelor's) but he already graduated last December. I hope that answer would suffice though. Thanks for responding!

oh sorry, first question is: Do I still need the 2015 ITR if my interview is on Febrruary 22nd?

Hi! I'm about to be interviewed on Feb 22nd at Manila Embassy for our K1 petition.
So far, I got the following as far as Affidavit of Support is concerned:
1. 2014, 2015, 2013 (Tax Returns) (Turbotax)
2. 2014/2013/2012 W2s
3. Verification certificate from his current job
Additional question would be, is it gonna be alright if the I-134 Form (Affidavit of support) would be his new job which he just started December 30, 2015. Or should I as well keep his old I-134 from his job from July to December 2015 and his certificate of employment too?

The bankruptcy won't be a factor. The U.S. Embassy Manila operates on the basis of current sustained income. At an annual salary of $44,000, there won't be any problems. Besides, lately it seems that the Embassy is not asking for the petitioner's I-134, tax return, W-2, and paycheck stubs from K-1ers.
oh that would be good. Thanks a lot!

No the bankruptcy will not affect the visa process.
While waiting for the petition approval why not pop over to the Philippines forum, say HI, do some reading on the process at USEM in Manila ..

Thank you very much!

No it won't affect. It's how much he makes he makes the guideline. and they don't check your financials anyway.
Thanks a lot!

Greetings!
I am very new on this website which I came cross while researching on some stuff related to K1 visa petition. My fiance filed for our K1 petition last November 17, 2015 through RapidVisa, got received November 23 and actual receipt (Form I-797) delivered last December 8, 2015. My fiance also filed for Bankruptcy around the same time but his annual salary at present is $ 44, 000 with 2 dependents (kids). My question is, will the Bankruptcy status be of significance or affect in any way our K1 petition? Thank you!
