We met through an MMORPG called Tibia in 2005.
We have officially been seeing each other since August 7th 2011.
The downside of having such a relationship as ours is that it ruins a lot of the fun stuff. Like surprises. For example, we never had an actual proposal. I am not wearing an engagement ring right now (though it has been ordered and I'm sure he's got some cards up his sleeve, proposal-wise, once I land on American soil on my K-1 visa! He likes to surprise me... Like the 5 day trip to Disney World last Christmas, holy hell! That was a major dream come true.)
We have planned to get married at a courthouse and later celebrate our 1st anniversary together by having an actual ceremony! We will have it on a cruise with family and friends (online and "real life" ones) attending...
So it's not going to be done the traditional way, which I find is sad! But we have planned a lot of things and we will make the best out of what it is! What matters most is that we can stay together, after all! :)
